Chapter 51: Devil''s Pupils


    It was midnight when Wang Ling finished his breakthrough. Opening his eyes, he noticed that his body was covered by ck impurities that have pungent smell. The disgusting smell attacked Wang Ling''s sense of smell but Wang Ling just shut his sense of smell using his spirit qi and chose to ignore it.


    He was not done cultivating and he was far from being done. He had broken through energy pce realm yes, but he wanted more and although he can''t cultivate the Chaos Spark just yet, he has another technique that needs more attention.

    The technique he inherited from his bloodline and all this time, after training in this technique, Wang Ling has yet to achieve even the lowest possible mastery. Even though hisprehension of the technique is just fine, Wang Ling can''t perform the needed steps for cultivating it as his cultivation was still insufficient.


    The energy pce that is inside the body is something that further refines the spirit qi.


    Energy pces have two functions. First, it acts as a storage unit just like the nine qi pirs, the only difference is that it can store spirit qiparable to the nine qi pirsbined.


    The second is that it further refines the spirit qi that enters the body. Although Wang Ling''s supreme spirit qi is already the purest form of spirit qi and needs no further purification. His energy pce can still be used in other ways.


    He has two kind of qi inside his body. One was the supreme spirit qi and the other was hellish qi. One of the two is already perfect while the other is not. Although his hellish qi is one of the purest forms of qi in the world, it can''t bepared to the purity of his supreme spirit qi.

    Wang Ling said out loud and closed his eyes and began working. He started refining his hellish qi and started circting the cultivation method of Piercing Vision. The hellish qi he purifies began assimting into his body.


    His bloodline started to churn: his whole being started to shake: his eyes started to experience the tortures of hell!


    Wang Ling made use of his purified hellish qi and began started to ''cleanse'' the impurities in his eyes. His eyes were hurting, an inexplicable pain started assaulting his eyes and soon he was bleeding ck colored blood.


    This blood carried the impurities that was inside every veins of his eyes. This signified that he was beginning to seed but this was also the sign that he was experiencing pain.


    Wang Ling was moaning in pain. A man that was as tenacious as he was groaning and moaning, one could only imagine what kind of pain he was going through.


    Inside, his eyeballs were beginning to change. Every veins in his eyes were being cleansed, the impurities were being reced by a beautiful crimson coat of blood. His pupils that was originally ck was also beginning to change.


    All of a sudden, his eyes burst open. A crimson halo was beginning to form as a single dot appeared on top of his ck pupils. The dot was something unnoticeable but as time went on, the dot began to move and started to create a crimson halo as it circled Wang Ling''s ck pupils.


    A burning sensation went over Wang Ling''s eyeballs as the circling of the crimson halo continued. With the burning sensation, Wang Ling felt the need to gouge out his eyes. It was too painful, too horrible, and too torturous.


    This processsted for an entire ten minutes until the crimson halo finally becameplete. The crimson halo was inching away from its starting point, shhh, a bright red light erupted from his eyes.


    The crimson halo was finallypleted. An intoxicating coolness flooded his eyes as Wang Ling finally reached the first level mastery of Piercing Eyes: [Devil''s Pupils].


    Theforting feeling ofpleting his Devil''s Pupils was simply tooforting that Wang Ling began to moan. His eyes had just been subjected to a torturous pain, thisforting feeling made Wang Ling lose all tension on his body and fell asleep.

    Wang Ling opened his eyes at 5''oclock. At this time, the Devil''s Pupils was still present and as he looked around, a clear image of everything was showed to him.


    His already capable vision had an unbelievable metamorphosis and became something amazing. He could see through the still dark room he was in like it was daytime. Wang Ling was not even circting his spirit qi to his eyes yet his vision was already so clear.


    "This is amazing!"


    Wang Ling was ecstatic, this Piercing Eyes was not a normal optical art that just see through illusions, as it also enhances the quality of the cultivator''s sight. His sight will continue to improve as the level of mastery goes up, won''t he be able to peer through everything in the future?

    This made Wang Ling have a headache as he feared that his identity of having the bloodline of devils will be known to the public. Thankfully, the Devil''s Pupils did nothing but add some form of elegance to his eyes and did not exude any form of hellish qi or devil aura keeping Wang Ling''s identity and trump card safe.


    Heaving a sigh of relief, Wang Ling got up and started cleaning the mess he had created. He opened his doors and blew the dust away that was left over from his whale-like absorption of spirit qist night.


    "This is not good. The 10,000 spirit stones is not doing it for me anymore. Tsk, do I have to exchange [Ster Stones]?"


    A ster stone was just like a spirit stone but it contained more spirit qi and has a higher purity. A single ster stone is equivalent to one hundred spirit stones. Wang Ling had been using the spirit stones because it was the resources Wang Shu Qing had given him and the academy does not exchange any.

    Wang Ling sighed for he knew what the reason for his sudden gain in poprity is. His face, skin, hair, and even bearings had changed overnight.


    If he was already good looking before, then he now have a devilish attractive feel. He had skin that looked like smoother than a woman''s a face that was in no way inferior to anyone else''s.


    He was radiating with manly aura that causedies to look at him favorably and with his mysterious pupils and gaze. Wang Ling was a hunk that is adored by many.


    [What if they learn of my deeds inside the academy?] he was in a thought as he remembered the difference of treatment he was gettingpared to when he was inside the academy.

    "Did three students from the Piercing Heaven Academy came here?" Wang Ling asked the waiter and the waiter nodded his head before leading Wang Ling to the second floor where luxury was present.


    In a VIP room where only a few people can enter was the meeting ce of the expedition''s members. From what he was told, there should be three other people that would be going in the expedition.


    Wang Ling entered the VIP room and was greeted by three people wearing the same red uniform. Wang Ling exchanged gazes with the other three before greeting them.


    "Seniors, my name is Wang Ling, I will be joining you in the expedition on the White Dragon Valley."


    Wang Ling was polite and gave them a slight bow.


    "Come in. let us eat before we head out." one of the twodies offered for him to enter.

    This unreserved attitude of Wang Ling made the mature looking senior look at Wang Ling with interest. She had heard of this man, but she didn''t think he was someone so free willed like this.


    She thought that Wang Ling was someone arrogant, but it seems like she was wrong.


    [You can''t believe everything you here.] she said inside her mind as she continued to eat.


    On the other hand, the childish looking girl beside her had the different look of Wang Ling and judged that Wang Ling was only acting so he can leave a good impression on the seniors. She became warry and on guard of him.


    The guy that was beside Wang Ling was quiet and chose to just silently eat.


    This was the group that shall travel to the White Dragon Valley.


    Wang Ling rejoiced as he found that it was quiet team.
