Wace was surprised to hear Avalon''s report. Although there weren''t any big changes applied to his firstyer of defense due to the Golden Trident Group''s arrangement, thepany had added a bit of security.


    They improved the turret''s system, the maneuverability of their automatons, and added ayer ofMana Pulse Barrier around his property.


    Not only that, but a couple of logos from the securitypany was also shown outside his property to supposedly drive away criminals from targeting his ce.


    Wace immediately thought the previous group who tried to infiltrate his property were the same culprits now. But he suddenly realized that they shouldn''t be a death-seeking group. They should''ve gotten information about what happened here in the first time they tried.


    "Show me what''s happening outside."


    Wace instructed Avalon as one of the sma screens at the corner of his workshop lit up.


    There, he saw seven cloaked individuals fully armored and now defending against his Laser Focus and Terror Centrifugal Gun. They were covered by the same ck miasma which Wace learned before as Hallowed Eye''s effect. Even a synthesized version of it was auctioned off at the capital.


    "Oh, they''re prepared this time. They look stronger now... Avalon, send out the Elysiums now. Don''t kill them all. Leave someone alive."


    Wace praised the seven intruders as they gathered together and defended against his installed defenses.


    He also quickly nced at the destroyed Mana Pulse Barriers. This time, they no longer created a hole to sneak in but they seem to possess a piece of special equipment that canpletely destroy the barrier''s core. Not only that, but all the turrets were also destroyed making it just a pile of metals, and some were even melted. Nothing can be recycled at all.


    ''Do you have a grudge with me?''


    Wace couldn''t help but feel suspicious of their actions. They should be clearly aware of the danger ofing here...


    Right now, Wace''s very own created barrier had activated and reced the Golden Trident Group''s pulse barrier. It is a much stronger defense and it would not allow anyone to leave or enter the coverage of the barrier without Wace''s permission.


    It was called Force Field Protection. The concept of this barrier was simr to his Wave Ward. This can even be used to deflect electromaic radiation like hisser focus. This was also a way to control hisser beams so it can only damage the ce within his property once activated. Of course, if necessary, this Force Field can be deactivated for his Laser Focus to pass through.


    This also means that the intruders were trapped within his property.


    The Wave Ward that was protecting the house and the workshop was also left untouched since they probably learned its effect before.


    "Eh? They might actually be nning to leave now but they can''t?"


    He saw that the intruders were really aiming for the cores of Golden Trident Group''s automaton. Wace forgot what it was called but their automatons seem to be causing him some problems.

    The sound of his mobile device was heard. It was someone from the securitypany. They''ve surely got the news that their automatons and installed defenses were destroyed.


    He saw that it came from the same guy who also notified him and assisted with the police investigation before.


    ''Is it Ray?''


    Wace remembered the name and picked up the phone to answer.

    While Wace was chatting with the officer from the securitypany. The seven intruders were regretting their decision to target this location first.


    They have prepared for a long time to thrash this ce. They brought equipment to destroy the core of the Mana Pulse Barrier called Origin Tracker. It was used to find the core of the barrier so they can easily sabotage it. This process only took them about 5 seconds to aplish and it even causes some shaking on the ground due to their powerful spell. They used this powerful magic to forcefully destroy the barrier''s structure from the inside. It cost them a lot.


    And after entering the ce, they made a quick job of destroying the installed mobile turrets.


    In truth, they even ignored the turret''s bullets. Heavy Turret, Mini Turrets, Elemental Turrets, and others were nothing due to their armors and improved Hallowed Eye''s ck miasma.


    That''s right, they already activated the power of the sealed artifact after stepping into Wace''s property.


    After destroying the automatons and taking the precious cores they needed on their mission. They were nning to leave the ce after cing powerful explosives around the ce to get revenge for their fallenrades.


    Unfortunately, they realized that they were stuck here.


    The Magic Jammer isn''t even effective. They can''t stop the assault as well. They can only rely on their defenses.


    They were even protecting the explosives they held as they were afraid that the Centrifugal Gun would randomly hit it and cause their demise. That would be the oue they wanted to avoid.


    Defending against the powerful centrifugal gun that fires 110,000 rounds per minute with .50 caliber and theser focus was actually within their ns. They prepared for it for several weeks. Unfortunately, 5 normal looking automatons came out to organize an assault against them. It''s not within their n but they quickly managed to adapt to the situation.


    "Defend!"


    "Hold on!"


    "We can exhaust the bullets and theser should be overheated by now!"


    "We can do this!"


    These shouts can be heard as they remained strong despite their current bad situation.


    Well, it was true in a sense. The bullets that Wace has in his stocks weren''t unlimited. Theser focus does indeed generate so much heat but this has been resolved already. He could no longer use his previous Passive Heat Dissipation System as he doesn''t want to heat up his ground. Instead, he was using a Cooling System where magic is involved to cool down hisser cannons. Through the help of airflow cirction it lessens the burden of getting overheat. Although the cannon still can''t fire unlimitedsers.


    At most, it can fire for about half a day before it will be destroyed.


    And for its energy, it was simple since he has a unique Mana Gathering Formation.


    This was one of the benefit in learning to incorporate magic spells and advanced technology.


    Right now, the seven intruders were getting desperate. The Elysiums appeared and they were probably a hundred times better than the Golden Trident Group''s automaton.


    Without any words or noise, the automatons were moving agilely like they were assassins.


    Fortunately for the intruders, the mission wasn''t to annihte them but to capture some of them alive.


    "S-so fast!"


    Their armor was made of Ghrain Alloy from Utara and was powered by Hallowed Eye''s miasma. It could practically ignore the securitypany''s installed turrets. They never bother to use their magic barriers.


    But it was different news for theser focus, and to the ming daggers being held by the Elysiums. Damages, cracks, and dimming of the ck miasma on their armor ur whenever they were hit directly.


    The seven can only move around while being together to avoid being targeted easily.


    "Thirteen! We''ll sacrifice here! We''ll make an opening and you escape from here.!"


    "No! I''m not leaving you behind!"


    "We have our mission!"


    "I will not agree! We live or die together!"


    "You--"


    "Say no more, brother sixteen."


    "Idiot! Who will avenge us if we all perish here!"


    "I won''t ept it! Neen! You''re the youngest. Take these cores and bring it to master. We''ll make an opening. Hurry!"


    "A-alright."


    As soon as Neen held the bag containing the important cores, the other six were prepared to trigger the explosives they brought. But this time, they nned to control the explosion to create an opening to the force field protection.


    Unfortunately, this will be difficult to aplish even if they all helped together. Especially now that only six of them can do it to allow Neen to escape.


    Neen stayed at the center of the group as he tightly held the bag containing the cores. He had warned his seniors numerously to avoid this ce and try to gather other cores from different target ces. He even asked their master''s opinion on this and agreed to it. However, once they are on the field, Thirteen would be themander and they have to follow his orders. Unfortunately, he didn''t listen and wanted to prove that he was someone better. Their team was also blinded by the powerful artifacts and abundant Hallowed Eye''s blessing they received from their master.


    Now, they were about to perish in the mission and unable to even send their mission objective, the automaton''s cores, to their master without sacrificing his brothers'' lives in the process.


    "Look out!" Thirteen shouted but it was toote.


    "Argh!"


    "Guh!"


    Fourteen and Fifteen were heavily injured by the automatons. Elysium''s arms had suddenly extended by a meter while holding the ming dagger. It bypassed the ck miasma''s cloud defense and pierced through their armor burning their skin.


    Due to the painful stab, they failed to control their ck miasma and were instantly hit by theser focus making holes with the size of an infant''s fist to their bodies.


    Currently, there are 6 Laser Focus firing at them, 1 Terror Centrifugal gun, and 5 Elysiums wearing them down.


    They couldn''t think straight anymore and could only follow Thirteen''s previous instruction. Using their powerful mental strength, they controlled a part of the ck miasma to form a cylinder or a cannon. Thirteen no longer hesitated as he didn''t have much time. It was too difficult to control these miasmas with only 4 of them!


    In the end, as soon as he tried to detonate the explosives, they lost control at the ck miasma and the explosion became scattered.


    They failed.


    They could only despair and wait for their death.
