    Ity down and happily made a soft wee sound as Yi Chen’s chest rose and fell. “When is your dading back? I miss him already,” he said as he lightly brushed the fur on the little guy with his fingertips.


    “I think I should tell them I am fine, right? I am sober enough to tell them that, right?” he said and the little guy rolled over and stared at him as though acquiescing to his words.


    Yi Chen seemed to ept the advice of the little cutie and got up leaving it lyingfortably on the bed. He entered the bathroom and checked his appearance like a tipsy person trying to prove that he wasn’t that drunk.


    After fixing his hair a little he was satisfied. He sat up down on the desk and called out, “Ran.”


    A soft melodious sound followed as Ran answered, “Yes sir.”


    “Open my StarNet ount and set up a live feed,” he said and Ran didn’t ask any questions. If it was Hydra it would have been questioning his judgment and giving advice. It would have advised him to use official channels rather than make an official announcement on StarNet.


    It would be best if he had his admirals around. They would have told him how bad of an idea this was. The floating screen showed his face and he checked the lighting and background before starting the live broadcast.


    Soon notifications that the Marshal was online popped up on people’s light brains and the man that hadn’t been seen for so long appeared safe and sound. He had lost a little weight but he seemed unscathed. A barrage ofments soon followed with some calling out husband, others calling out Marshal happily like obedient followers, and others cursing Zi Han to death for harming their Marshal.


    Yi Chen didn’t care for the husband cries neither did he care for thements of admiration. The ones that irked him most were the ones cursing Zi Han. Annoyed hemanded, “Ran, tell admiral Li to hold everyone who is cursing my wife, I mean Mr. Zi on StarNet to be held ountable.”

    “Yes sir,” replied Ran, and Yi Chen continued,


    “I am Marshal Yi, the fifty-ninth Marshal of Onyx Federation Inteary Army. Sheba can confirm my identity for those who are sceptical,” he said his voice as chilling as the snow caps of Loch Ness star.


    “I had been missing in action but Mr. Zi came to rescue me. He is the reason why I am here speaking with you today. I have heard some disconcerting things said about Mr. Zi and I am unamused. Mr. Zi is my benefactor thus he should be treated as such. I will not be immediately resuming my duties as the Marshal anytime soon for health reasons.”


    While he was continuing with his speech the barrage ofments were going crazy with the word wife constantly making an appearance and the little nim nim who was being well-behaved so far was now climbing up the desk curious to see what its father was doing.


    Yi Chen could see it was struggling thus he helped it up and ced it on the desk. The little nimsel was very appreciative thus it rubbed against Yi Chen’s fingers like a cat with a contented wee sound.


    One can only imagine people’s reactions seeing a cold-faced Marshal ying with a cute fluffy thing. It was truly a sight to behold.


    The door slid open with a swoosh and Yi Chen turned his head not even meaning to hide it at all. Zi Han entered the cabin and when he met Yi Chen’s gaze he smiled his face radiant like a blossoming orchid under the morning sun.


    This image of Zi Han was captured in the live broadcast setting up a storm. Who would have thought the cold ruthless killer who was a hero to others and a death sentence to evildoers could smile like that stealing one’s heart and soul?


    “What are you doing?” asked Zi Han while walking towards him. Before Yi Chen could respond, Zi Han kissed his cheek and Yi Chen subconsciously raised his hand and stroked the back of Zi Han’s neck.

    Zi Xingxi fixed his cor while saying, “Why does the method matter? It’s the effect that’s most important. At least now no one will have the balls to curse our son on StarNet... Now stop whining.”


    Yeoh Jun who was not whining but very upset hugged his wife seeming aggrieved as heined.


    “It matters. You just don’t understand,” he whispered but he didn’t dare tell her of his n. He hugged her tightly and said,


    “I can’t wait for you to be my empress. I will give you my mother’s crown and you will sit by my side.”


    Zi Xingxi who thought she was already his empress rubbed the tip of her nose on his neck and whispered, “I thought I was already your empress from the day you married me.”


    This was what many aspired to have. A person who loves them for them and would do anything to keep them happy. Yeoh Jun had found that person decades ago and he would be stupid if he were to let her go.
