Introduction: Reigna's (Ray-Naa) life has not gone in the direction she'd hoped for. Celebrated at her Bardic Academy for interesting and innovative ideas, there were high hopes for her among some of the staff, however the skills she cultivated did not translate well to the typical tavern and pub crowd that bards usually perform in. She's been out of school for 2 years, can find consistent work in her field, has lost contact with many of her friends, and she's just trying to make do with what she can.A fantasy, dark comedy about a bard confronting depression, creative burn-out, the expectations of being a "gifted kid", and some family drama, with a neat little mystery thrown in for good measure. This story isn't about saving the world, it's more about letting the world save you and learning to love your own life again. Equal parts cozy story, fantasy adventure with some coming of age elements. Still a work in progress but I will update as often as possible.
