    The old woman''s heart felt warm when she saw the excited little girl in the mirror. Ever since her son was little, she had always wanted a little girl so that she could dress her cutely and adore her.

    "Nothing. I just came earlier to greet and apologize to sister Sun Xumei for the inconvenience we have caused her…" Wang Yue said bitterly as she bowed to Madam Tang. "Aunty, I shall leave now that you havee."


    "...Alright. But be mindful of what you do in the future." Madam Tang stared at her deeply and then turned towards the room.


    "I… understand…" Wang Yue hung her head low and stared at the ground as she left. Luo Lixi gazed closely at the back of Wang Yue and fell in deep thought.


    When Madam Tang entered the room, Luo Lixi''s eyes searched for her mother who was standing beside the window.


    When Sun Xumei heard footsteps she turned around with a sad face. Looking at the sullen face, Luo Lixi''s face dropped.

    "Ma~" When Luo Lixi called out Sun Xumei turned to look at her. She smiled as she walked ahead.


    "Thanks for taking care of Xixi." Sun Xumei said as she wanted to take Luo Lixi from Madam Tang but thetter didn''t let her.


    "You are pregnant now. You should avoid holding her. It''s bad for your health." Madam Tang muttered as she went ahead and sat on a sofa and turned to look at Sun Xumei.


    Both Luo Lixi and Sun Xumei felt awkward as their outraised hands met empty air. They retracted their hands simultaneously. Madam Tang motioned Sun Xumei to sit in front of her.


    After Sun Xumei did, the olddy stared at her and asked indifferently, "What do you think about inviting your uncle''s family?"


    Sun Xumei''s expression froze when she heard her. Her eyes became cold as she nced on herp and spoke out slowly, "They have torn ties with me when… elder Luo refused to ept me… So I guess, we don''t need to invite them. They are no longer my family…"


    "Really? Then, why did they ask a favour from my son?" Madam Tang frowned as she asked while Luo Lixi was staring at her mother. She blinked her eyes and pondered, ''Asking a favour after cutting ties… Tsk! Tsk! Shameless!''


    "What favour?!" Sun Xumei was startled when she asked instinctively. She became nervous at once when she heard her, ''Why didn''t Baiyun tell me about this?!''

    Without any notice, Luo Lixi ran towards the two boys who were ying under a peach tree. When they saw hering, both of them stopped ying and stared at her.


    "Yichen…" Luo Lixi murmured as she nced at the cute boy who was peeking at her. She went forward and grabbed his hand while saying, "You have yed enough. Come with me now."


    Little Zhao Yichen''s face turned red when his wrist was grabbed by Luo Lixi. Even though he was hesitant if he should go or not, he didn''t resist when Luo Lixi began to drag him towards another ce.


    But suddenly, Luo Lixi was forced to stop as someone grabbed her hand. She frowned and turned around, only to see the other kid grabbing her tightly.


    "Let go." Luo Lixi said yet the boy refused to free her.


    "y with me instead." The boy said with a dark expression like his mother and tightened his grasp on her.


    "Who are you? I don''t y with unknown people!" Luo Lixi was irritated as she tried to free her hand but failed.


    The other person was a kid but Luo Lixi felt like she shouldn''t have close contact with another man except for her husband. Zhao Yichen was someone who had died while trying to save her and she had already taken her as a brotherly figure and he didn''t fall in the other man category in her opinion!
