    Song Luokui got up and went directly to Chi Yu''s side, immediately giving him a princess-carry and lifting her up. "Why aren''t you wearing shoes?" Although the floor was carpeted, he was worried her feet would get cold.

    Chi Yu carried her to the sofa and sat down, fetching a pair of slippers from the room for her to wear. "If you''re hungry, go downstairs to eat or have someone bring food up. I have some things to take care of right now, but I''ll join you in a bit, okay?"

    She first returned to her room to take a shower, then went downstairs to eat. After finishing her meal, she brought another portion upstairs to Chi Yu''s room and sat beside him.

    Chi Yu opened his mouth to eat it, then continued looking at the PowerPoint presentation on hisputer.


    After Chi Yu finished eating, Song Luokui fed him another bite, intermittently feeding him until the entire te was empty.


    Song Luokui sat beside him, replying to somepany matters on her phone. When she finished replying, Chi Yu''s meeting was also about to end.


    She heard Chi Yu say "Meeting adjourned" before leaning over to him, "Work''s over?"


    On Chi Yu''s end, his headset was still on, so the people on the other side heard a girl''s voice and immediately perked up their gossip-hungry ears.


    It was morning on the boss''s side, yet there was a girl''s voice. Just who was this celestial being beside the boss so early? Did something happenst night...? And wasn''t the boss on vacation abroad? Everyone wanted to listen further and see if they could make out anything, but the boss had already turned off his headset.


    Over there, Chi Yu quickly turned off his headset. "Yeah, it''s over." He closed hisptop, got up, and left the room with Song Luokui.

    Song Luokui breathed in the fresh, post-rain air and saw the distant sea surface sparkling under the sun''s rays. She nodded, "Let''s go now! Doesn''t the beach have lots of things after the rain?"


    Chi Yu: "Probably."


    Song Luokui changed her clothes, grabbed a small bucket, and quickly ran out to the beach with Chi Yu.


    There really were many things here. During lunch, she had heard the maid say they could catchrge seafood on the beach in the morning.


    Lobsters, sea urchins, jellyfish, crabs, overturned baby turtles, seashells - you name it, it was all there.


    In no time, the small bucket was filled with various sea creatures.


    In the distance, the sun was slowly setting towards the sea. Chi Yu set up his camera, quickly running over to put his arm around Song Luokui''s shoulders. Song Luokui raised her hand in a scissors gesture. "Click!"


    Chi Yu returned to the camera, adjusting the settings again. They took several photos like this.


    They continued until the sun slowly sank below the horizon, sitting side-by-side on the beach to watch this beautiful scene.


    Even after the sun had set and the evening grew a bit chilly, Chi Yu didn''t bring Song Luokui back to the vi untilter.

    Chi Yu simply followed beside her, notining about being tired. When it came time to pay, he handed over his card directly.


    After buying gifts for everyone, she looked over Chi Yu beside her and entered a men''s clothing store. She picked out a tie for him to try on, then selected two outfits. "Even though you seem to always wear custom-made clothes, I want to buy these for you today. Do me this favor and wear them at least once."

    Song Luokui: "No need for that, I know what you wear to work."


    Chi Yu: "Then I''ll wear them on dates."

    Chi Yu tried to hand over his card again, but Song Luokui refused. "It''s a gift from me, I''ll pay for it myself."


    Chi Yu put his card away, clearly delighted. "Okay~"


    Afterwards, she went to other stores, buying shoes, cufflinks, watches, and more for Chi Yu. She returned with a day''s worth of shopping.


    The next day, Chi Yu had her apany him to a private g event hosted by a famous jewelry brand.
