    Even Li Si felt ufortable when he threw his cold nces over, but Mu Yuchen was calm, he looked back at him for a moment before looking away.


    “What’s wrong?” Xi Xiaye noticed that something was amiss. When she looked to the front and noticed Qi Feng, she frowned instantly and asked, “Why is he here? Did hee to pick Qi Weier up?”


    Mu Yuchen did not reply as his eyes darkened. While he was not showing any particr emotion on his face, he looked oddly calm. Li Si’s expression darkened instead.


    “It looks like he really loves his daughter. Our concerns before were invalid. I’ve seen that little girl before. She looks really like Gu Lingsha. Although she’s very pretty, she’s very frail. You’ll see for yourselfter,” Xi Xiaye said.


    “He told me before that Qi Weier is both his and Gu Lingsha’s daughter. It doesn’t look like he’s lying, but I’m sure that he doesn’t know about the rtionship between Gu Qiwu and Lingtian, or else, he might have told me something else.”


    Mu Yuchen opened the door and got down, and Xi Xiaye followed him.


    The moment the school gate was opened, children starteding out with huge bags on their backs like little angels running around as their parents quickly went to them. In just a few minutes, the parents gathered around the entrance and soon left with their children.


    Mu Yuchen and Xi Xiaye stood by together beside the gate, but they still could not see Mu Zirui anywhere. Qi Feng and Gu Lingsha did not find Qi Weier as well.


    At this moment, on the cement road inside the school leading towards the gate.


    “Can you stop following me? I really hate you. You’re annoying! Your mother is a horrible woman because she injured my mother until she bled! You’re a bad person too. I hate bad people!” Mu Zirui had a heavy bag in one hand as he frowned while staring at Qi Weier behind him unhappily.


    Qi Weier wore a pretty pink princess dress today and she had a butterfly hair clip in her blonde hair. Her beautiful little face appeared a little pale and her blue eyes had dark rings as she shadowed Mu Zirui. Maybe because her bag was too heavy or because she was frail from the beginning, she looked weak and was panting as she walked.


    Mu Zirui did not want to care about her at all. For some reason, she had been following him everywhere. She almost followed him into the toilet as well, especially for the past two days!


    Anger bubbled up inside him as he remembered what happened the other day. He could not help butin whenever he saw Qi Weier, but he never forgot the lesson his father taught him: as a well-mannered gentleman, getting worked up would not solve any problem!


    Mu Zirui stood his ground and gave Qi Weier a nce. Then, he picked up his pace and rushed towards the gate. She wanted to catch up to him, but her face turned really pale after just several steps as she panted heavily.


    Qi Weier had a fragile body and easily experienced fatigue. Although she attended a regr school, she could not y with the other children. While the others went to physical education sses or did some exercise outdoors, she could only stay aside and watch alone.


    She hardly spoke in school, but she treated Mu Zirui differently. She was willing to be close to him and wanted to y with him, he had a good looking and gentle mother, she wanted a mother like her too.


    “Father, Mother!” Mu Zirui ran out of the gate as he already saw Mu Yuchen and Xi Xiaye from far away.


    “Be careful. Look at all your sweat. Wipe it off!”


    Mu Zirui came over and hopped into Xi Xiaye’s arms. She smiled and grabbed some tissue Li Si handed her to help her son wipe his sweat as Mu Yuchen handed his big bag to Li Si.


    “Father, you’re here too! I thought only Mother woulde!” Mu Zirui was thrilled to see both of them.


    Mu Yuchenughed as he patted Mu Zirui’s head. “Is it only your mother who cane? Am I not wee?”


    “Of course, you are. I just thought Mother loves me more,” Mu Zirui blinked his innocent eyes and answered honestly.


    “You little brat!” Mu Yuchen grinned while Xi Xiaye shrugged her shoulders and gave him a helpless expression.


    “Get in the car. I’ll make something nice for both of youter.”


    “Yay, let’s go back home! Father, I want to eat steak with honey sauce!”


    “Since when did you be so easily tempted by food now? Give your Great-grandpa a call!” Mu Yuchen patted his head again.


    “Oh, alright. Thank you, Uncle Li Si!” Mu Zirui took the phone from Li Si and was about to call Shen Yue, but suddenly, there was an anxious voice from behind.


    “Weiwei! What’s wrong?! Weiwei! What happened?”


    Mu Yuchen and Xi Xiaye took a pause and exchanged nces before looking over at the direction of the voice.


    They then realized that Gu Lingsha was shaking a little girl as she wiped her sweat. “Didn’t I tell you not to overexert yourself? Why didn’t you listen to me? Are you feeling better now?”


    “Feed her the medicine. Don’t worry. It’ll be fine!”


    It was Qi Feng speaking. He was really calm because he was used to situations like this. Immediately, he took out a tiny bottle from Qi Weier’s bag and shook two pills out to hand to Gu Lingsha who quickly fed them to the little girl.
