    Zhang Zian had grown up in Binhai City, so he had spent a lot of time ying on the beach. As far as he could recall, starfish and sea urchins were asionally spotted on the beach, but for so many of them appear together in the same area was unheard of.

He then turned around and, at the top of his voice, shouted to Famous, “Be careful when all of you areing over. Some of the animals in this area might be dangerous, so don’t touch any of them!”


    Zian’s voice traveled far and wide as it was carried by the sea’s breeze. Famous barked once as a response to Zian.


    Richard, too, stopped being noisy. It jumped out from Zian’s hood and onto his shoulder, curiously watching the increasingly concentrated and peculiar marine creatures.


    “Ga ga! Pay more attention you idiot. I don’t want to take care of your corpse!”


    Zhang Zian was more worried about where Gxy had gone They were already halfway through the heand, yet there was still no sign of Gxy.


    Zian did not even have the time to look at his phone to track the unknown elfin. It was already very difficult for him to keep his bnce on the slippery rocks with his two hands.


    “Ga! Stop!” Richard suddenly cried out, “What’s that disgusting thing in the front on the left? Don’t step on it! Stepping on it would definitely ssh stinking green mucus everywhere!”

    Zian didn’t see anything at first, but soon, a mollusk-like creature with a color simr to sand suddenly moved.


    The mollusk squirmed and crawled to the edge of the muddy ground. Its body was fat, t, and covered with hard bristles; it was just like a slug that grew hair. The size of the mollusk was not small, either––it was about the size of half an adult woman’s arm and was estimated to weigh about one to one and a half kilograms.


    Its body was yellow with a hint of white, while the bristles were of a bright golden color.


    The most terrifying thing was that it had a very strange, grayish-ck head and it had no eyes––only a giant mouth that was not proportionate to the size of its head. In its mouth were two pairs of triangr, sharp teeth-–just looking at them would send chills down your spine.


    Richard’s description was right. It was really disgusting.


    Zhang Zian squatted down and gave it a careful look. He took in a breath of cold air and said, “If I’m not wrong, this creature appeared once in the Illustrated Handbooks of Rare Pets. It’s generally known as a sea caterpir but its scientific name is Aphrodita. The Aphrodita isn’t really rare––there have been ssifications of it in many sea areas around the world––but this one here seems to be a rare subspecies discovered by scientists in the cold waters of Antarctica in the year 2012… It is known as ‘Egisca Gigantea!''”


    “Ga? Really can’t tell that this disgusting thing has such a background… But didn’t it appear in the South Pole? How did it get here? We are not far from the North Pole here,” Richard asked in amazement and excitement.


    “I’m not too sure.” Zhang Zian shook his head. “Maybe this creature also exists in the North Pole and has yet to be discovered.”


    Richard pped its wings and flew over from Zian’s shoulders, hovering over the Egisca Gigantea.


    “It’s dangerous! Don’t get close!” Zhang Zian hurriedly reminded.


    The moment Richard heard Zian, it instinctively pped its wings to fly up higher.


    In a split second, the Egisca Gigantea, that had once seemed sluggish, suddenly opened its mouth. Its sharp, brown teeth grew out another five centimeters and it lunged towards Richard!


    Richard could almost hear the sound it made from the upper and lower jaw shing against each other.


    Thank god Richard flew up higher just in time; otherwise, that one bite would have left a hole in its body.


    Several bird feathers drifted in the air. Richard was scared out of its wits and it hurriedly flew back to Zhang Zian’s shoulder. It no longer dared to approach the horrifying monster.


    Zhang Zian was also frightened quite badly––he almost thought that he was going to lose the b*tch bird.


    “Holy sh*t! I only flew over after I calcted the height that it would not be able to reach, but I didn’t know its teeth could grow! I’ve not heard about the existence of such monsters in this world!”


    Richard was stillpletely shocked and was talking endlessly to vent about his fear and uneasiness.


    “This kind of animal is like this… their teeth are extendable. It’s exactly because other animals hold the same mentality as you, which is why they fall prey to them.” Zhang Zian continued, “In addition to that, those gold bristles of theirs are also poisonous.”

    “Ga? Hermaphrodites? It’s both the top one and the bottom one?” Richard cried out in a sudden realization. “No wonder it looks so disgusting! Maybe even its own kind are disgusted!”


    Although this Egisca Gigantea had no eyes, the countless bristles on its body were able to sense the flow and vibration of the sea water and air. It could even sense Zhang Zian’s footsteps and his voice.


    It sensed that Zhang Zian was muchrger in sizepared to the reckless bird. Feeling threatened, it started to squirm its body around to look for sea water in an attempt to escape.
