    nca scooted Malinda away – nca was holding some sliced apples she had prepared for Matthew and she stood on the side to properly “admire” the show Malinda was putting on.


    “Matthew, honey. How are you feeling right now? Do you need me to get the doctor for you…”


    Saying so, Malinda reached out to hold onto Matthew’s hand. All Matthew could feel now was a heavily throbbing headache.


    He was totally fine before.


    And Malinda bugging him now only made everything worse.

    “I am fine, not entirely recovered, but I am ready to be discharged!” Malinda stopped crying immediately hearing Matthew checking on herself. She put on a joyous smile right away.


    Malinda felt awesome to know that Matthew somehow cared about her.


    Matthew must be disappointed with nca fromst night.


    Thinking so, Malinda pushed nca, who was next to her, away deliberately. nca didn’t get much sleepst night and she had been feeling kind of fuzzy today. And Malinda almost knocked nca over by that slight push. She wasn’t in the mood to start up a fight with Malinda at the moment, though.


    “Excuse me, can you scoot over?” Malinda said, and she turned to look at Matthew, “Matthew, honey…”


    “Please don’t.”


    Matthew was not pleased to see this happening to nca at all. He looked up, stared at Malinda, and something embarrassing, “Head back and get your rest now that you aren’t fully recovered. Don’t waste your time here with me.”


    “Come on, it isn’t a waste of time…”


    “I need to rest,” Matthew said slowly.


    He never knew Malinda had feelings for himself until now. But now that he knew, he would try to keep a distance.


    nca saw the surprised look on Malinda’s face. She burst out into augh.


    Matthew took a look at nca, “Baby, walk our guest out.”


    “Sure, honey!”


    nca finally felt joyfully relieved and a bit touched. She looked at Matthew and then waved her hand at Malinda, “Miss Roach, my hubby needs to rest up. See you some other time. Bye-bye!”


    nca finished her words and blocked in front of Malinda’s sight.


    Malinda was pissed off but there was nothing she could do.


    After sending Malinda away, nca turned around and saw Matthew lying on the hospital bed smiling, “I did great back there, right?”

    nca couldn’t helpughing. She smiled feeling content and nodded. She passed some fruits in her hands to Matthew, “Not bad at all. This is your reward.”


    “Of course I did. I am a married man.” Matthew said.
