    nca dried her hair. She seldom used a hairdryer because she felt that it was not healthy for her hair. Just as she was about to go to bed after drying her hair, Matthew put down his tablet and suddenly turned his head to look at her.

    “Are you going to bed?” nca was trying to make a conversation to avoid awkward silence.

    nca’s phone vibrated. She picked it up and saw a friend request on the screen.


    It was Zachary Wood.


    nca approved Zachary’s friend request and she went ahead to freshen up. As soon as she was done, she received a call from Peter. Peter asked her for her address saying that he was on the way to pick her up. There was no way nca would allow this.


    So she told Peter she would be going over herself.


    As soon as she hung up the call, Matthew walked in. But he didn’t seem to notice nca – he went straight upstairs to take a shower. nca already finished breakfast when he came down from the shower, “Matthew, I am going out for a meetup today.”
