    nca grew a bit perplexed. These two were acting weird.

    Mary staggered back, raised her head, saw Matthew approaching from a distance, and gave a pretentious “ow” as she fell to the ground.


    “…” nca was speechless. With acting chops like that, she should have been on the big screen.


    As she was thinking of all that, there came footsteps from behind. Lisa dipped her head respectfully. “Have we interrupted your rest, Mr. Grant? A thousand apolo…”


    “What’s going on, nca?”


    Matthew didn’t even look at Lisa or listen to a word she said.


    Lisa swallowed thetter half of her line and watched Matthew’s expression resentfully. With everything he’d seen, sure he would not like nca as much.


    She was smirking in secret when Matthew bent worriedly over nca. “Why are your clothes dirty? Did you get hurt?”
