    By the time the cleaner had finished tidying up, Seraphina had already finished breakfast, changed into

    these with you?”

    this one; you can put the other one away.”


    The cleaner looked puzzled but did as she was told. Seraphina took the set she’d picked up to the bed,


    hifted the nket, and tucked it under the pillow. Only then did she leave, satisfied.
