Chapter 208: Soul

Wang Hao had a solemn look on his face as he watched the spacefarer that was about to approach the. He knew that the situation will turn moreplicated once this person was in the Thrae already.
Aside from Wang Hao, the strongest practitioners in the Immortal Continent were all thinking of the same thing. Even Fang Yu and the Fang n Patriarch stopped ying as they stared at the iing spacefarer.
As for the practitioners in the God Continent, they appeared to be ignoring the whole situation altogether. Nobody at that continent even tried observing the spacefarer. What was more fishy was that the God Continent did not even try tomunicate with the Immortal Continent regarding the Underworld invasion. It was as if they do not want to help at all.
But before the spacefarer could enter the atmosphere, he/she paused, as the spacefarer touched its left ear. Wang Hao had enough encounters with technology before to know what it was.
“This person must bemunication with another someone else right now.” Wang Hao thought as he watched the spacefarer engrossed in a conversation.
He saw the spacefarer’s body straightening, as if he/she received a great shock. He saw the spacefarer ncing at the whole Thrae then back to the ship then back to the again, as if there was something new in the that made the spacefarer wary of it.
Then to Wang Hao’s surprise, he saw the spacefarer backtracking as he/she reentered the space ship. Once inside, the ship’s mechanisms suddenly changed. The ship’s attacking weapons disappeared as they all retracted back to the ship.
The defensive around the ship suddenly increased, as more and more types of defensive mechanisms covered this shippletely. Aside from that, the only thing left working were the jet propulsions that kept the ship afloat.
The ship then stayed stationary, with no indication that it will move at all.
“....’ The sudden turn of events made Wang Hao’s worry increase. This spacefarer was brave enough to enter the even with the threat of the Underworld Invasion. But suddenly, this person received a message that sent it scampering back to his/her spaceship.
Wang Hao then saw the ship suddenly turning itself into a highly defensive fortress. It was as if the message this spacefarer received was enough to make him/her turn tails and cower back into the ship.
As for why the ship did not leave at all, Wang Hao was still not sure for the reason of that.
The only thing he was sure of was that this spacefarer discovered something in the Thrae that warranted a high state of vignce. What was worse was that the residents of the Thrae was not even aware of what this thing was!
As Wang Hao was pondering about these things, he suddenly felt the arrival of the Underworld Soldiers. They must have decided to return when they felt the danger suddenly reducing. As for the sma beams that almost hit the Solstice Kingdom, nobody inside the Solstice Kingdom detected it because of the formations put by the Immortal Conve.
“Prince Reaper, is everything fine now?” Old Billy asked worriedly. Wang Hao knew what Old Billy was feeling now. Wang Hao promised to Old Billy that this invasion will proceed smoothly without any dangerous factors on the way.
But just after their arrival, all of them suddenly faced the danger of dying immediately! Old Billy was of course not happy with that. But the best thing he can do was to just keep his grievances hidden as he low-keyined to Wang Hao.
Wang Hao just gave Old Billy a wry smile as he said nothing. This was his silent confirmation that even he does not know what will happen next.
“.....” Old Billy could only tremble as he realized that meeting Wang Hao was bot the luckiest and most unfortunate part of his life.
Wang Hao shook his head, clearly amused with the antics of Old Billy. He then looked towards where Nathalia was cultivating. Since Wang Hao had already stopped the extermination form, Nathalia was now in no danger of being annihted.
Her problem right now was that because she had stepped on the Fifth Stage already, the Underworld Suppressing Formation’s effects were now effective on her.
Her cultivation base, which just stepped recently on the Dao Domain Stage, was forcefully repressed back to the First Stage. This sudden restriction, coupled with her currently unstable condition brought a massive bacsh on her.
Nathalia was currently unconscious now, as her body shut down due it prioritizing healing itself.
Wang Hao’s mind wandered as he imagined entering Nathalia’s ce and ying some pranks on her. He was about to actually go there when he felt the ground trembling. This trembling was not only felt by Wang Hao. Everyone in the Immortal Continent felt this, even those at the Forbidden Continent and the God Continent.
It was safe to say that everyone living in the Thrae felt these trembles.
“Bang!” The floor cracked as Xiao Ya and the Fang n Patriarch stood up. Shock was evident in their eyes as they realized what was happening.
“Don’t tell me.... it’s currently at that stage already? Isn’t this too early?” Xiao Ya muttered as she gave the Fang n Patriarch a decisive gaze. “Sorry, but ytime’s over now. What’s happening right now was way more important than your family matters.”
“I guess you are right.” The Fang n patriarch sighed as he prepared to leave. He then gave Xiao Ya onest look before he said,
“So should we convene the Immortal Conve first before doing any actions?”
Xiao Ya nodded while saying, “That’s the best thing we can do for now, as for that soul was just awakening now. It will still take a long time before its full potential can be achieved.”
“Then I shall start contacting those fogeys.” The Fang n Patriarch gave Xiao Ya a bow as he left the Immortal God Sect.
Xiao Ya sighed deeply as she prepared her weapons. She knew that with the appearance of that soul, a big fight was about tomence, that will include even the strongest of the strongest of the Thrae. Before she left, she sent Tang Luo a message regarding the current events.
She then rushed towards the Central Divine Empire leaving behind clouds of dust at the Immortal God Sect.
..........
Wang Haoughed uproariously as he realized what was happening. He had read things like this before, and he even personally met some of them. With his energy senses, he knew who exactly was the culprit of the’s tremblings.
He looked at the direction of Fang Lin’s spirit ship as he muttered to himself,
“So that’s the reason why you can talk huh.”
........
Inside Fang Lin’s spirit ship.
Fang Lin was still busy finding an appropriate excuse for Xue’er’s appearance. He floundered as he talked, clearly showing that he had no sess in doing so. Rou’er and Xu’er’s face were both dark as they thought that Fang Xiushang might have a rtionship with Xue’er.
They were about to berate him when a sudden glow engulfed the spirit ship. This was then apanied by loud rumblings from the outside. Once Fang Lin’s vision cleared up from the sudden re, he saw where the glow wasing from.
He saw the slumbering Tang Li floating, as her body emitted halos of multi-colored light. This disy was both fascinating and unfathomable to Fang Lin.
While the others were awed by the beautiful sight, Long Juo who saw Tang Li like this, suddenly paled as he stepped backwards. His eyes then widened as he looked outside. There, he saw the non-stop trembling of the ground. Long Juo sighed as if he already discovered the reason for the strange events.
Fang Lin of course noticed Long Juo’s strange actions so he asked him,
“Do you know anything about what was happening right now?”
Long Juo sighed once more as he gave Tang Li aplicated look. His features softened a little upon seeing her cute pout. But Fang Lin could also see a hint of caution on Long Juo’s eyes as he looked at Tang Li.
Long Juo then looked at Fang Lin as he asked him,
“Did you even wonder why this baby can talk at her age? That’s definitely weird.”
For this question, Fang Lin’s only reply was that Tang Li was special.
“Special?” Long Juo snorted, as if he found it quite funny. He gave Fang Lin as stern look as he said,
“You see her glowing with multiple colors right now? Do you see the tremblings outside? Those two were rted!”
“So what?” That was Fang Lin’s reply to Long Juo’s excited tirade. “How does that exin what was happening to Tang Li?”
Long Juo rubbed both his arms as he said,
“These two phenomena happening at the same time only indicates one thing. And if we factor in Tang Li’s abnormally advanced intelligence and behavior, my guess will be certainly right.”
Fang Lin’s breath hitched as he awaited for Long Juo’s guess. Even the others inside the spirit ship stared at Long Juo intensely.
Long Juo’s solemn look only made his answer more chilling.
“I think Tang Li is the soul of Thrae.”
“.......”
