    “Is that the only thing on your mind when you see me? Can’t we just go on a date?” Nn couldn’t help


    but feel slightly exasperated. He’d set a precedent, always taking her on culinary adventures, and now


    Regina hade to expect a new foodie destination every time they met.


    “How about we grab something and then catch a movie?” she suggested, patting her stomach, which


    growled on cue as if to emphasize her point. She hadn’t been able to stomach anything back at the


    dinner table and was genuinely famished.
