    The boss didn’t engage with him as usual; instead, he gave him a cursory nce before shifting his gaze to the others in the


    room.


    “You all still remember the oath we took when we first joined the ranks of journalism, right? Do you still remember what our


    primary duty is?”


    “| remember.” Regina silently answered in her mind, “To honor the truth, to respect the public’s right to know the truth, that is the


    foremost duty of a journalist.”


    Everything she was doing now was in fulfillment of that very vow she had taken.


    But while taking the oath had been simple, putting it into practice was another story entirely. The path to bing a true


    journalist was fraught with obstacles and hardships.
