    way to work when I saw an ambnce taking someone away again. Did they run into more trouble?]

    Balfour might not openly show it, but he cared for Ivy more than anyone realized. With her life hanging

    Quinton, always by Balfour’s side, had long picked up on the special ce Ivy held for him, though


    Balfour himself still appeared to be in denial.


    Balfour hit the ground running as soon as the ne touched down, not wasting a second before


    speeding to the hospital where Ivy was admitted.


    Bursting through the hospital doors, he raced towards Alyssa and Dean, barely catching his breath,

    Seeing his grandson like this, Dean felt a pang of sympathy and gestured for someone to bring Balfour

    “Take a breath first. Ivy hasn’t woken up yet, and the doctors… they don’t have a clear answer.”
