develop it, right? I have an idea to earmark a small area there for an art section. I wanted to know your
opinion.”
Upon hearing this, Ellinor actually thought about it seriously. “Which part do you want to earmark for
this?”
“I can’t exin it clearly just by talking. If you have timeter, we can go to Blue River Estates together,
and I can show you the exact location and borate on my ideas and creativity.”
Ellinor nced at her wristwatch. “I’m busy all morning and have an important meetingter.”
Bartlett shrugged indifferently. “It’s alright. I don’t have anything important today anyway. I’ll wait for you
here. After your meeting, we can go to Blue River Estates together and grab some food on the way.”
After looking at his settled demeanor, Ellinor coldly said, “If you insist, then wait. The meeting won’t be
short, so feel free to leave if you get bored while waiting in the reception room.”
Bartlett crossed his arms. “We’ve known each other for so long. Why should I wait in the reception
room? Can’t I just have a few cups of coffee in your office?”
Ellinor frowned. “Mr. Rex, you’re not young anymore. It’s better to have some sense of boundaries. We
may be partners, but we are alsopetitors. Ourpanies have many ovepping projects. Do you
really think it’s appropriate for you, as the CEO of anotherpany, to be alone in the nchet
Corporation’s office? There are many confidential documents in my office; do you think I can trust you?”
Bartlett spread his hands in an aggrieved manner. “Ellinor, we’ve known each other for so long, and
you still don’t trust me? I won’t peek at your confidential documents.”

me? Are you trying to drive me away?”

heater for you?”
