Chapter 690: CHAPTER 659 ABOUT THE TREE


    While the four of them were returning to the clinic one individual with a build greater than an average beastman came running towards them, his expression is full of excitement and when he finally arrives at the door of the clinic he shouted “Lord Shadowsh have returned!”


    Immediately the busy clinic became silent but only after a couple of seconds as everyone instantly starts to run towards the door.


    But the man that brought the news opens his mouth and lets out a loud roar that sounded like a lion’s roar, he then said “I know all of you are excited but not all of you could meet him right now as we don’t want to leave the injured ones behind.”


    Hearing this the doctors and nurses that have ran to the door became embarrassed, upon seeing this the lionman hurriedly said “All of you do not need to worry, lord Shadowsh said that he will be personally visiting the clinicter.”


    Upon hearing this the people in the clinic calms down, the lionman then asks “I havee here to request the nurses that were taking care of lord Shadowsh’spanion to check if they are already conscious.”


    Upon hearing this the Catwoman that was leading Meowy and her group looks at the trio and she could see that their expression became strange.


    She covers her mouth with her hand giggles softly, the lionman heard this and became confused, he then started touching his face searching for anything that is out of ordinary.

    His clumsy performance made the Catwomanughs, so that he wouldn’t be further embarrassed, Meowy could only step up and asks “Mister?”


    The lionman looks at Meowy and realised that he didn’t know her which is extremely strange as he is confident that he memorized all of the people inside the city, he then clears his throat and spoke in a very confident manner “I am lionheart, the most knowledgeable person in this city.”


    The catwoman then faced Meowy and said “This actually is not a brag, he really is the most knowledgeable person in the city, because of this he became lord Shadowsh right hand man and was promoted to vice city lord.”


    “He might holdrge amount of information but he had no social intelligence, he is a person that has an awkward social skill.”


    The trio looks at Lionheart and could see that he became beet red because of embarrassment but he didn’t deny what the Catwoman have said.


    Meowy then introduced herself and her two guardians “I am Meowy the current tribe chief of the Devil Cat Tribe, these two behind me are my guardians.”


    “If you are looking for Venerable Shadowshpanions, it might be us.”


    While the others were calm and was only slightly bit surprised when they heard that they were Shadowsh’spanion, Lionheart has a different reaction as his eyes bulged and his expression was that of shock.


    He then hurriedly asks in a very excited manner “You mean that Devil Cat Tribe?! One of the top ten Supreme Tribe!!!”


    This time everyone was shocked, on the other hand Meowy couldn’t help but nod at Lionheart’s knowledge, since Mortal City have no individual that could live for more than 100 years many information about the outside world should have faded, yet Lionheart still knew their tribe.


    She nodded, just as Lionheart was about to ask many more question, the Catwoman informant of the trio let’s out a cough and said “Lionheart shouldn’t you bring these three distinguish guest to lord Shadowsh right about now?”


    Instantly the excited mood of Lionheart calms down just like a fire doused by water, he then rubs his head and said “Yes, that’s right I nearly forgot about my current task.”


    He then grabs Meowy and the two guardians and left, Meowy and the two guardians were quite shocked by how fast he moves.


    They didn’t realised that they were now being carried until they felt the cold air sting them as they travel.


    Meowy then looks at the person carrying the three of them with surprise, she realized that she had been looking down at the residents of Mortal City.


    The four of them then arrived at a mansion with a giant tree on it, the tree was extremely tall and huge, it looks like it was piercing the sky.


    Meowy had already seen the tree from afar but because most of its body part is covered by clouds and a fog that emits a strange charm she hadn’t fully realised just how huge it is.


    Lionheart then brought the three down when they reach the gate, two guards with an ox horn and ck armor stood besides the gate.


    One of the oxman then spoke in a calm manner but because of their appearance their entire being is very intimidating “Vice City Lord, lord Shadowsh have been waiting for you.”


    Lionheart was then escorted by a guard, the guard wad a gori beastman and his build is nearly the same as Lionheart.


    Meowy and the two guardians started looking at the surrounding and they couldn’t help but sense an aura of bleaknessing from this ce.


    This confuses them greatly as they could see clearly that the entire surrounding was beautiful and clean, this ce should exude vitality not bleakness.


    The gori is quite perceptive to an individual’s emotion unlike Lionheart, he then said “Vice lord Lionheart, can you exin the reason why this ce exudes such strange aura to our three distinguished guest?”


    Lionheart was confused but he still decided to exin it “This ce might confuse you right?”


    Left and right guardian saw that Meowy did not answer, so the two of them answered at the same time “Indeed, this ce shouldn’t exude such an aura of bleakness considering how much nt and animals living in this ce.”


    Lionheart looks at the two with surprise and said “You two really are in synced with each other. Your observation and senses are top notched also.”


    He then looks at the surrounding filled with life and sighed, just as he was about to exin it, he pauses as if receiving somemand.


    He then shut his mouth and looks at the trio, his expression indicates that he was telling something, the gori who was leading them inside couldn’t help but sigh and said “Lord Shadowsh said that he would be the one exining everything to all of you.”


    With that he bows and left, Meowy then looks at the door in front of them with a bit of dread, they don’t know why but their instinct is telling them that something extremely dangerous exist in the room.


    Lionheart then knocks on the door, when Meowy and the two guardians finally saw what was inside the room they couldn’t help but be shocked.


    Bones numerous of bones scattered everywhere, Lionheart wasn’t shocked as he had already seen this but he looks confused, he then looks at Shadowsh who was standing on a specific spot and asks “Lord Shadowsh, why is there lesser bones than before?”


    Meowy and the two guardians were startled when they heard this, Shadowsh finally faces the four and said “Good it seems that everyone that I ask for is here.”


    Lionheart then looks at the room and saw three more individuals, an elephant beastman, a lizardman and a gori.


    “Everyone, you might be wondering why I have gathered all of you here.” Everyone inside the room nodded, including Meowy as she sensed that they are probably going to discuss something very serious.


    Shadowsh then looks Meowy and said “Tribe chief Meowy this is also important for your group, the Devil Cat Tribe have been destroyed but a Saint was born in that tribe after that great battle.”


    “The new Saint is the leader of the Supreme Poison n.”


    As if she was struck by a lightning bolt, Meowy trembles and falls into the ground full of bones, Shadowsh saw this and said “Please do not worry, the leader of the Supreme Poison n is no longer the same as he is before.”


    The two guardians who had turned rigid from the news finally heaved a sigh of relief when they heard this, but they are still nervous as to what the leader of their enemy have be.


    “The leader of the Supreme Poison n have fused with the One Hundred Poison Worm, fusion is a bit of a stretch, if I had to be more precise, ze is now gone and the One Hundred Poison Worm have been born.”


    This confused the trio so did everyone inside the room as they felt that there should be no connection between the event that had happened to Devil Cat Tribe and Mortal City but none of them dares to contradict Shadowsh.


    “ze consciousness have been devoured by the One Hundred Poison Worm and it was now wrecking havoc everywhere, The Devil Cat Tribe territory is now considered it’s territory.”


    Meowy grips her fist feeling aggrieved but she didn’t say anything, but inwardly she was both sad and furious.
