Chapter 404: CHAPTER 376 THE PRECARIOUS SITUATION OF THE TANK MASTERS


    Steven was stunned he never thought that his strength was too powerful that he manage to knock one of the monsters down with just one hit.


    He then looks around him and realized that the monsters were actually retreating away from him.


    That is when it hits him it wasn’t him that the monsters were afraid of but his shield.


    He knew that his shield was created from an unknown monster bones even though it was only a small part of the bones it was enough to create thisrge shield.


    He also saw the monster when he was nearly possessed by it.


    He then started advancing as the monster started retreating.


    He then had an idea as he started chasing the monsters but he did not target the monsterpanion knowing that the monsters would risk everything to stop him.

    The members of the Monstrous Adventurers were having a hard time reigning in their monsters they also felt the fear that wasing from them.


    They were startled then they look at Steven strangely they then initiate the contract between them and the monsters and saw what they are seeing.


    Their expression be pale as they look at Steven with an horrified expression they saw behemoth roaring at them.


    Just as they wanted to run away their rationality stops them as the Rosa and the man besides her looks at each other and nodded.


    The two of them then attacks Steven when the audience saw that both of them unsheathes their swords they were shaking their heads for them it was much better to be an archer if one was Tamer.


    Suddenly they saw the two moves in an incredible speed as they quickly arrives in front of Steven and shed their weapon.


    Their attacks caused the other group that were watching to tremble in shock they realized that the two were not only powerful Tamers but also powerful fighters.


    Steven was also shocked he quickly raised his shield to defend.


    Sounds of sword and metal shing was heard as the two work together to pressure Steven.


    Steven knowing he could not use his shield’s power once again was having a hard time.


    The other members of his group was fighting the monsters now that Steven was being held off by Rosa and her team they were going in a rampage.


    Explosions were happening everywhere in the stage the two tanks were having a hard time defending the two archers.


    In the side Cassandra and Ang were having an easy time dealing with the monsters as Cassandra is responsible for blocking the range attacks while Ang was dealing with those that tries to get close.


    Suddenly the ground beneath the two of them soften Ang quickly jumps while Cassandra flew up.


    The flying monsters have been waiting for this as they quickly flocks towards the two.


    Cassandra opens her mouth and breaths outsrge amount of mes in them as the monsters quickly stops and started throwing their skills.


    Cassandra then grabs Ang before flying away but the monsters were relentless as they chase after them.


    “Quickly drop me off I’ll deal with the guys on the ground!” Ang quickly shouted as she knew that without her Cassandra could move freely.


    Cassandra looks at her before nodding as she drops Ang down.


    Ang raised her fist as she was diving fist first.


    Bam! One of the monsters was hit in the head which made it unconscious but another monster attacks Ang as she was thrown away.


    Up in the sky the flying monsters were chasing after Cassandra but they were having a hard time.


    They can’t get close because of the beautiful yet fierce fire surrounding her there is also the fact that her attacks were powerful enough to eliminate them.


    So they bombarded her with range skills or just annoys her she might be powerful but they had the advantage in numbers.


    In the stage Ang was fighting against 5 monsters on her own as she was getting angry from the fact that other than this monster the human members of the Monstrous Adventurers were also targeting her.


    Roar! She lets out a roar stunning the monsters as they all thought that she wasn’t a human but a monster in the shape of a human.


    Her punches weren’t like those of a human but like those of a monster they are heavy and deadly.


    The five monsters were driven by this as they became much more powerful as their opponent did not use any weapon then they wouldn’t worry about anything.


    Humans have weapons to contend with monsters but there were also some people that trains their body to contend with monsters.


    And Ang was trained by top monster n the Steel Ape n not to mention her body is just like theirs so she wasn’t in an disadvantage fighting monster with just her fist.


    But against five monsters that were trained and their grades weren’t low she was of course having a hard time coping up.


    Suddenly while the whole stage was in chaos an arrow hit one of the human members of the Monstrous Adventurers the arrow would pierce through the head of the person if it weren’t for the spiritual sense barrier.


    With the elimination of the Tamer so does the elimination of the monsters after all the only reason why they were exempted to the rules of numbers because there is a rule stating once they were eliminated so does their monsters.


    With the huge rhinoceros beetle and two of the flying monsters being eliminated the pressure for the members of The Tank Masters weakens.


    But just as one of the human members of the Monstrous Adventurers was eliminated a shout came from the stage as one of the tanks was overwhelmed by the monsters resulting in him being eliminated.


    Another shout and the other tank was also eliminated with the disadvantage in numbers the tanks were no match at all.


    The two archers knew that they were clearly up next.


    Without the tanks protecting them they are no match against this tide of monsters.


    Both of them looks at each other before nodding they had one tactic understanding and that is to take one down before going down.


    Wether it is a monster or a human they need to take one down they had no luxury of thinking any kind of n.


    The two of them started focusing on the Golden Giant Elephant as they targeted it’s ears and eyes.


    The Golden Giant Elephant was fighting against Ang when it felt numerous arrows being shot towards it and they were targeting it’s ears which even though is tough but also one of its weakness.


    While it was distracted Ang pulled it’s trunk and ms it into the ground just as she was about to finish it off the monster besides her rams her pushing her away from the Golden Giant Elephant.


    The monster then let’s out a shriek as its eyes were shot by an arrow.


    Krisha smiles as she then sighed as two bull monsters ms her between each other.


    With that Krisha was lifted out of the stage the situation of The Tank Masters became dire.


    The remaining archer was having a hard time running away from the monster just as the monster was about to run him over he shot his arrow urately hitting one the human members of the Monstrous Adventurers.


    But it failed to eliminate him as it only hits the shoulder of said target the archer then smiled bitterly as he was finally run over by the monsters.


    With that the remaining members of The Tank Masters are down to three Steven, Ang and Cassandra.


    In the three Ang’s situation is clearly the worse while Steven was now surrounded by the human members of The Tank Masters as they are the only ones that are able to approach him.


    The best in the three was Cassandra as the more time goes by the fewer the monsters that were chasing after her.


    She was taking one of them at a time but she was using her Mana at a drastic rate not to mention her energy.


    In her phoenix form her strength might have increased tremendously but thises with a price but her situation is somewhat special as the increase in her strength is like those of the forbidden technique or skill but yet she only suffers exhaustion.


    Other than exhaustion she also suffered damage because of the elemental attacks thrown at her.


    Even though her speed is almostparable to a Crimson Gold Rank individual she still couldn’t dodge an attack that was thrown at the same time in different location.


    If this keeps on she might only be able to fight for at least half an hour before reverting back to her human form.


    Bang! Back in the ground Ang punches the Golden Giant Elephant in the face her attack might have pushed it backwards but she was still grasped by it’s trunk.
