CHAPTER 3
FREDRICK AND VALKIRY
Seeing themotion, Shadowsh suddenly raised his paw. The hawk was surprised by it but still nodded “what is it young one?”
“How strong are the humans venturing in the forest and what are their attitude toward monsters?” Every monster looks at Shadowsh with admiration, what a great question.
The hawk also looks at him with admiration.
“Their strength is mostly made up of Silver Rank but their attitude to us is that of a predator to a prey. They only see us as livestock, not even a hint of mercy to the intelligent ones.” The hawk answered sadly.
The monsters started to get angry at the humans thinking that these strangers just barge into their homes and started eating their friends.
This time Shadowsh looks at the wolf and asks, “Sir wolf, can you lead the Starving Acid Boars into the human settlement?”
What Shadowsh said was like a p of thunder on the monsters head. They excitedly nodded and praised how great the n is.

Then they started to discuss how can they implement the n. Shadowsh looks at the monsters onest time before going out and nning to y with his sisters but what he didn’t know is that some of the young intelligent monsters are all looking at him with admiration and new fighting intent.
The ones excluding the fighting intent are the bunny, a ck wolf cub, a white wolf cub, a hawk chick and a leopard cub.
The monsters were still discussing about their n and it seems that it will take a long time to finalized those. When they were still in the heat of discussion, the silent gori suddenly spoke, “how about asking that young fox?”
What he said made the others finally remembered that the idea came from a young little fox.
“Can someone call him here?” The bunny then hop to where Shadow is. When she got there she saw a skeleton lying in the shade of a tree while Shadow was ying with his sisters.
“Hey you!!!” Shadow stops and look at the bunny confusingly as to why is she calling him.
“What is it little bunny?”
“You are being called back to the meeting, it seems that they want ask you to share some of your ideas on how to implement your n.”
Shadowsh nodded and followed the bunny back to the gathering.
Shadowsh bowed to the older monsters and said, “did you call me elders?”
All the monsters nodded, they felt good about this young little fox who isn’t only smart but also polite.
The gori nodded and said “we are here to ask you to hear some of your opinions”
Shadowsh bowed to him and said “I am very sorry but I don’t have enough information about our enemies so I have to refrain from sharing my ideas.”
The gori listened to what Shadowsh said and nodded. He then told the hawk and the wolf to tell Shadowsh all the information they know about the boars and humans.
It took an hour to share all the information that the two monster gathered.
Shadowsh pondered and started sharing what his ns are.
“It seems that there is a Starving Acid Boar King that leads all the other boars, which is unusual, that is why nearly all the Starving Acid Boar in the forest gathered together and even started to attack in teams. Based on what wolf-san said this monster should be a solitary creature.”
All the monsters including the big 3 was enlightened. No they know why those boars got together.
“About the humans, well they are simply more cunning and cruel than monsters so I don’t have any concrete idea about them yet.”
All the monsters nodded. They know that humans are very sly.
“The idea I got is to hawk-san to drop a stone into the head of the Starving Acid Boar King making it enraged then lead the it to the humans.” Shadow suggested.
The monster admiration to Shadowsh increased, such a detailed n was given to them already.
“Also, any boars that was left or got separated from the rest should be hunted by speed type monsters to avoid them from teaming up.” He added.
The monster found it reasonable and felt relieved that Shadowsh was there. If not, they won’t know what they will do.
Shadowsh then came forward to Hawk-san.
“Hawk-san, please be very careful when approaching the king. It must have aces on its sleeve, you must escape at the first sign of danger.”
Hawk-san nodded. He then introduced his daughter to Shadowsh.
“Here meet my daughter. By the way she is one year older than you.”
Shadowsh was about to introduce himself when the chick raised her little wing and proudly looks at Shadowsh.
“Yes I am older than you and that means I am superior than you.” She was very smug about what she said as she raised her head looking at him condescendingly.
Shadowsh looked at her strangely. “Okay? then I am Shadowsh, nice to meet you.”
When he finished what he said, the father and daughter look at him dazed
“You have a name? Who named you?”
“I have named myself, why?” what Shadowsh said was a great blow to the chick. It seems that it was a great aplishment to name oneself.
“Why did you name yourself?” Hawk-san asks.
Shadowsh said while looking at the clear sky “I don’t know why, maybe because I want to be called by my very own name other than being called of what type of monster I am.”
What Shadowsh said seems to hit something deep in the hawks heart. It is always what he wanted, to be unique than other hawks that is why he always hangs around with other intelligent creatures to make him known and not be mistaken by some other hawks.
“Then young one how about giving me and my daughter a unique name?”
Shadowsh thought for it a bit and said “then how about Fredrick as your name, and for your daughter is Valkiry?”
“Splendid names indeed. Now, I am called Fredrick and my daughter is Valkiry!” The hawk merrily spoken.
After the gathering Shadowsh was thinking that he wants to have a summoned monster that can scout the surrounding for him so that he can ess information early and readily. Therefore he ask the SYSTEM when will be the next free summon.
(To ess free summoning, Host needs to level up and enter a new realm. The higher the realm, the higher chance that Host can gain higher grade monsters).
So Shadowsh trained harder and also wants to develop a skill of his own so he continuously battle with wild monsters that has is no intelligence.
There is a rule in the Jade Tree Forest that was made by the united alliance of intelligent monsters that an intelligent monster that is a member of the alliance must not attack another member of the alliance.
Shadowsh was exploring with Sans a week that passes after the gathering.
Shadowsh and Sans have grown stronger than before.
Their level is now Level 4.
Shadowsh always brought his prey back home and shares with his sisters.
Now, they are Level 2 from Level 1. Even though they do not hunt, they were training their Mastery of the skill [Fireball] that their mother taught to them.
Shadowsh mastery goes to (F+) to (E-).
He also added 1 more SP(Skill Point) to [Fireball] making it into Level 4 increasing its damage by 20%.
After exploring for an hour, they finally found their first prey of the day. A Level 6 Dashing Antelope. This monster should be very fast when fleeing as you can tell from its name. So he let Sans did the very same method that they always use in hunting, by ambushing prey.
They waited for 10 minutes until the monster was within the target range.
Sans pounce on it using [Iron Bone Pound] breaking the antelope’s head. A notification pop out after Sans killed the antelope.

(This skill is locked can be unlocked when Sans achieved Bronze Rank)
Shadowsh was bewildered.
‘Can be unlocked when Sans achieved Bronze Rank?’
Shadowsh then asks the SYSTEM, ‘do you mean there is a specific number of skill that can be learned ording to being rank?’
(Yes, none rank can only learn 1 skill, Bronze Rank is 2, Silver Rank is 4, Gold Rank is 6 and Dark Gold Rank is 10 further level is still unknown need to upgrade SYSTEM)
‘Need to upgrade SYSTEM?’ Shadowsh was confused again.
‘Does it mean that you can still be upgraded?’
(Yes when host can advance a rank, the SYSTEM will add an additional function or upgrade an already functioning ability)
Shadowsh was enlightened
‘So that’s why’
He was also very excited of what ability the SYSTEM will gain in the future.
Sans then carried the antelope back to Shadowsh home.
When they returned, Shadowsh cooked the antelope, but as per usual Sans get 1/3 of the score while the rest were shared by Shadowsh and his family. He doesn’t mind though, as long as they level up.
After having a meal, both Sans and Shadowsh went hunting again because the day was still early.

They kept searching for a prey and at the same time exploring the forest to note for its geographical traits.
They then arrived at a creek where they found some fishes. Insects and other creatures are also living in there.
