Chapter 124: Shopping time~1!


    "C-Congrattions, on the win."


    After exiting the gymnasium and responding to all those who congratted Seth for his victory, the Student Council President decided to walk back to his office and pack out for today.


    But just as he was about tond his feet on thest stair, he heard a familiar voice from behind, bringing a small smile across his face.


    Seth brought his poker face back before turning toward the source of the voice to be greeted by a certain violet-haireddy wearing a formal ck skirt and white shirt which had the upper two buttons undone.


    "Were you watching?"


    Seth did a quick survey around the perimeter and felt d that there was no one approaching as of now.


    "N-No... I just heard..."


    Haruka murmured under her breath, not able to keep her voice steady, more so when he was looking at her so directly. She fought the blush her cheeks always betrayed to get dyed with whenever she came face to face with Seth.


    After he confessed his love there were very, very few instances when Haruka had toe before him but this was the first time after the trip that she chose to approach him and congratte him on his win.


    "You sure about that? I am certain that I saw a certain woman cheering me off from the sideline. It may be my delusion but her features were entirely identical to yours, Haruka."


    "D-Don''t call me by my name and I was not cheering for you, hmph!"


    It was a lie since Haruka indeed was present inside the gym, not since the start but she watched his match for the most part.


    But now being teased by him, and also that intimate way of calling her made Haruka annoyed before she stomped her feet and prepared to leave, only for a pair of strong arms mming on the wall on either side of her head and caging her in between.


    "Don''t lie to me. I saw the gleam of anxiety sh through your eyes when I was getting beaten up."


    Haruka couldn''t refute, both because of the credibility of his words and also the current intimacy they were sharing.


    It might be her imagination but Haruka was nearly feeling his body heat even though they were not practically touching each other.


    Seth remained silent for a bit, his expression changing to an uncertain one before as asked in a severe tone.


    "Are you still mad at me for that prank?"


    Haruka slightly widened her eyes, with her brows raising slightly, all her fluster vanishing in an instant as she red back in fake astonishment.


    "Prank? You call that prank, Oh so wise President of Student Council?"


    Under Haruka''s re, Seth was not able to say anything in return since he already had realized what he did back then was a blunder on his part. He was not used to pranking people but the first time he tried, he screwed it marvelously.


    Haruka held the urge to let her eyes get moistened when she remembered how she felt at that time before continuing.


    "You won''t understand how it feels when you hear someone you care for, leaving you behind. I couldn''t bring myself to even recall nor can I exin how I felt at that moment. I wanted to die, Seth! I wanted to end myself at that very moment and you call it a prank?!"


    Seeing her tearing up and how she was gushing with the trauma, Seth was not able to help himself before he moved forward and enveloped the woman in a soft embrace.


    "No! Leave me...don''t touch me... Seth no longer is alive for me! Let go..."


    Haruka protested, thumping her small fist on his chest and trying to separate herself from him with all her force. But despite the repulsion, Seth didn''t move away and epted everything she had for him.


    He could feel how hurt she was and Seth felt sad seeing her like this. The woman he wanted to make happy and ensure her smile retains all the time...he himself became the reason for her tears.


    Haruka remained in the repulsive phase for another minute, before her assault grew weaker and weaker, and soon thedy helplessly fell into his embrace, her arms enwrapping his back. Seth also closed the distance and hugged her as if his life depended on it.


    In that peaceful silence, no words were conversed between the two but the beginning of a new story was in making where Haruka and Seth woulde to know each others'' importance in their respective lives.

    "President looked cool there, no?"


    After the event of the selection process came to an end, Ciel, Anabelle, and Serena decided to head toward the cafeteria to have something light.


    Most of the students were returning to their dorms or were still on school grounds which left the cafeteria not entirely upied, which led the three to choose their preferable table in the eatery.


    "Mm-hmm. There were maidens with literal hearts in their eyes when they saw President overwhelming Kevin."


    Replied Ciel to the blond as she sipped on her pineapple juice while crunching on potato chips. Despite her elegant appearance and the noble family she belongs to, the silver head was extremely fond of unhealthy food.


    "Do they? Hmm...I wonder who those girls were to eye President in that indecent manner. Very shameless. "


    Both Serena and Ciel halted their movements and turned their nce at the speaker in unison with a nk looks on their faces.


    Are you really the one who is saying this....is what both of them wanted to ask Anabelle considering how she was nearing her orgasm seeing the President in the arena, but they held back from asking for now.


    "Anyway, what you guys are wearing for the opening ceremony of the Tournament?"


    All those who were ranked in the top 10 of their school selection tests were invited to the ceremony at the start of the tournament. Serena was ranked eighth so naturally she would be a part of the orientation as well.


    Hearing Ciel''s query both Anabelle and Serena blinked before widening their eyes in realization.


    Ciel didn''t have to hear what they suddenly felt so shocked about before she proposed an idea she originally would have followed.


    "Tomorrow sses are suspended. How about we go shopping?"

    A/N: - Some leisure chapters before the tournament arc begins. There is something more than just thepetition that is going to begin in this arc and finally, the true face of Arata would be revealed.


    Now that I realize, more than a hundred chapters yet other than Lara, Seth has not been in an official rtionship with anyone.
