Chapter 90: Taking the control~


    It has been almost half a month ever since Seth left the mansion and most of the time he mostly spent his vacation in the first dungeon he ever challenged. It was not something Seth could have ever imagined but all went well since the end was well.


    Seth had no issue overpowering the two crowned temple which was spawned on thest floor of the dungeon just like he had been handling the other mobs. He practically breezed through the trial and brought the ordeal to its end without facing any fatal injury except for the one in the beginning.


    After returning to his home, the first thing Seth requested was a meeting with the Seven shadow Generals on the same day of his arrival. The request was something the chief of the shadow order expected so he readily epted the proposal and organized a meeting near eight in the evening.


    Seth''s stepfather, who was unaware of the reason for Seth''ste arrival and this sudden appointment with the Order was naturally worried as he persuaded Seth to rest first, but thetter humbly rejected the kindness since this was something Seth needed to do, as soon as possible.


    Being back in her full health, Lara along with some high-ranking maids went along with Seth for their young master''s protection. Lara had unhidden wariness toward the shadow Order and their previousck of response in the call of Seth''s security showcased that the Order is no longer trustable.


    "Seeing you healthy and safe makes me delighted, young master."


    As the man said he bowed his head in front of Seth and forwarded his words which from the outer surface seemed genuine. But that didn''t help to forbid Seth from a smirk.


    Seth was aware that his recent actions after rebirth might have raised suspicion among the Shadow Order since they are worshippers of Duchess Vrie, therefore having an eye on everyone around her was given. And also a fact, Lady Duchess was away for some matter in the capital, assisted the Shadow Order to do what they desired.


    They wanted to test Seth''s might and see if no one else has been residing with the face of whom they considered their young master. But this was also a fact that even if Seth would have been in the original state, he would not have been able to conquer the altered dungeon.


    So in a way, the original Seth might have died by now.


    "You say that...but do you mean it?"


    Hearing Seth''s cold yet slightly amused voice the other six of the Order felt a shiver running down their spine, but they kept their posture intact and didn''t lift their head to see what destiny was about to befall.


    Shin was the only one who wasn''t kneeling like his other six subordinates, as he lifted his head and for a brief moment, assessed Seth.


    ''He...has grown unnaturally... ''


    The red-haired warrior was not threatened since Seth had a long way to reach his level but bncing Seth before the journey and now the man who was arrogantly sitting a few meters away,pletely outlived anyparison. Not only did Seth appear calmer and more dangerous but the amount of Soul energy he has adapted in such a short period was breaking Shin''spressibility.


    It goes without saying that once Nux reported Seth''s conquering of the dungeon, the existence of the Order was in threat. Not the whole group but at least the one who gave the order to not pursue Seth inside the dungeon.


    But the boy to being here and exchanging words meant a simple thing.


    "What do you require?"


    Shin asked inly without beating around since he knew, without anything in mind, Seth would have never considereding here and not reporting the Duchess firsthand after he arrived in Carta.


    "Dare to speak like that once again, and I would make sure to inflict a fatal wound before my demise."


    The amount of blood lust Shin felt from the group of servants who came along with Seth was not something to scoff about since each of the workers servicing the Albeck is a trained warrior. Some were personally groomed by Shin himself, but that doesn''t change the fact that the brte maid''s warning remains fruitless.


    Even if she or anyone else in the room including his teammates dares, Shin wouldn''t get injured until he doesn''t consent to it.


    "Calm down, Lara. And for you, General Shin, then my proposal is simple. Grant me the ''thread''."


    It might have sounded like simple words but those words were enough to widen every shadow order''s eyes to their widest reach including Shin.


    The Thread which Seth was talking about was not something anyone, including Vrie herself, should be aware of so Seth''s knowledge of it gave the air of suspicion.


    "Oh yes, don''t think I am only aware of its name but not feature, General. I am very well familiar with why every Shadow General behind you can never go against your will even if they want."


    Now Shin was assured that Seth has aplete grasp of his powers and the knowledge of Thread was not some fleeing whims of the boy.


    The reason why no one in the Order can go against Shin''s words despite their wants or desire remains in the runic symbol engraved on distinct body parts of the six and the detonation of those symbols lies at the fingertips of the Order General Shin.


    Of course, Shin never thought of going against his goddess that is Vrie but to keep things in the decree, he had to takemand of hisrades so they can move in the best way possible for Vrie''s profit.


    The room which was already quiet fell into abyssal silence as Shin pondered on the proposal when Seth once again brought up a use he found required to add.


    "Oh, and refusing my terms would end every Shadow Order''s existence...which I guess, the wise General should be aware of already. You see I can''t lie to my mother until I don''t get enough sugar aspensation."


    It was a threat through and through but Shin was already aware of it without Seth voicing it out. If Seth returns unsatisfied from this discussion, then nothing less than painful death would await them.


    But handing the Thread in the hand of the boy would also leave Shin''s back vulnerable to hisrades to be attacked at any moment they find convenient.


    But that doesn''t mean Shin would get down easily even if all six of his teammate attacks him, better to say he might conquer them with sheer force if pushe to shove.


    Shin didn''t have to think much long as soon he got the pros and cons of the deal.


    "You win, young master. From here on, myrades would be at your mercy."


    As Shin said his eyes shed with a slight illumination, instantly making Lara pull up her guard, but that wasn''t required since Shin never intended to harm Seth once he was proven to be the child of Vrie.


    Soon a sigma was engraved on Seth''s back of the hand granting himplete control over the six Shadow Generals except for Shin.


    Seth didn''t feel much with the new addition but just he was able to detect their presence more vividly and had an idea of how to trigger the emblem Shadow Order carries if Seth wanted.


    With a grin, Seth nodded toward the obedient General as he forwarded his gratitude along with some news.


    "I am thankful for the gift, General. Now that your purpose is fulfilled, I wish you a happy retirement in the afterlife~"


    Shin''s eyes narrowed at thement but before he could have formted what the boy meant, a very familiar presence approached the scene.


    A presence that not only Shin but everyone inside the room could feel vividly and let themselves feel the shiver of what tremendous aura such presence brought along.


    "M-m-mydy?!"
