    Allison held a tray with a bottle of wine, giving Linda a cold nod


    Linda squirmed a bit. “Allison, did you see the text I sent you?”


    “Which one? I don’t check my phone while working.”

    As Linda prepared to leave, the elevator slowly ascended. Allison remained silent for a few seconds


    before saying, “Thanks.”
