Sarah recalled how Penelope had wanted Allison to be her stand-in, probably just to humiliate her. She
furrowed her brow, “Watch out for Serena. If Leah got shut down by me, she definitely won’t take it
lying down. She might go to Serena, who’s the manager here. She can fire an employee just like that.”
“If she wants to fire me, she’d need a good reason! I haven’t done anything wrong. On what grounds
can she fire me?” Allison said,
