    Allison thought: Lucian was already engaged to Penelope, and he was always so sweet to her, a stark


    contrast to how he treated me. All his tenderness was for Penelope, and Penelope was even pregnant

    “You’re her fiancé, and you’re supposed to marry her.”

    were burning. She rushed to the bathroom. Her clothes were on the rack, but they were no longer


    wearable!


    “Lucian, you don’t give me clothes or money. I really got the short end of the stick from being with you


    last night.”


    “Got the short end of the stick? It was me doing all the work. You were just enjoying it. Weren’t you


    delighted just now?”

    After hanging up, Allison started worrying about how to get out of there. Going out in just a bathrobe


    would get her mistaken for a lunatic!


    Her eyes fell on the man’s wardrobe.


    She walked over, opened it, and found various sports outfits, suits, and casual clothes neatly hung.


    She picked a grey sports shirt to put on, then looked at her overly spacious figure.


    Allison really didn’t know what to do.


    Here, she didn’t have any friends she knew.


    She couldn’t have someone bring her clothes either.


    She left the bedroom and came to the living room. Her eyesnded on a gift box on the table.


    Allison walked over and opened the box.


    Inside, there was a long goose–yellow dress and a set of underwear.
