    Allison quickly pulled her hand back and bent down, ready to grab the carring and bolt Suddenly, an


    arm circled her waist, and she was lifted up, letting out a sharp scream.


    The weightlessness scared her

    Lucian caught a whiff of a light sweet scent. It was her natural fragrance


    He eyed her lips and swooped down to steal a kiss Before Allison could react, he pulled the earring


    from her ear and threw it in the trash

    was suddenly acting tough She shoved him hard, but he deftly dodged her


    Allison stood up, quickly sidestepping him, and said, “I don’t want the earring anymore, Mr. Lindbergh: I


    hope you’ll stop bothering me You’re Ms nagan’s fiancé


    She wiped her mouth and turned to leave


    Lucian smelled the sweetness she left behind, his voice was hoarse as he asked, “Where were you on

    That was the night when he returned to the Silver Star Hotel and was drugged.


    Allison stopped She turned around and smiled “I was at the hospital during that time. Dr. Dn is my


    mom’s doctor, we were together every day”


    That seemed to set Lucian off

    He could still taste the sweetness on her lips. Lucian scowled and gave the coffee table a solid kick,


    sending it toppling onto the carpet, with water from the cup spilling everywhere


    He had lost control because of Allison


    Leaving Lindbergh Corporation, Allison realized she was drenched in cold sweat.


    Her ear began to throb with pain. She didn’t know how hard he had pulled, but her ear was bleeding


    What she didn’t understand more was, what the hell was wrong with Lucian?


    At noon, Dr. Dn came to have lunch with her

    Dr. Dn noticed the injury on her ear and asked with a furrowed brow, “Allison, how did you get hurt?


    Have you put any medicine on it?”


    “I’m okay now”


    “That’s good” he said. “Allison, I have to go for some advanced training and perform a couple of


    surgeries in the next few days, so I can’t be with you.”


    “That’s fine, go ahead”


    Allison didn’t seem to mind, she had her mother’s affairs to deal with.


    Dr. Dn, feeling a bit guilty hesitated before saying. “Once I’m done with the surgeries. I’ll be sure to


    make it up to you. My mom’s birthday is alsoing up, my parents are quite fond of you I was


    thinking of introducing you officially to everyone that day”


    Allison blushed slightly She didn’t know how to respond, her heart was in tumult


    Dr Dn was very nice and good to her, but Allison wasnt sure if this uncertain feeling was right for


    her.


    After lunch, Allison immediately contacted Daisy


    Daisy’s family ran a jewelry business. She found a picture of a hexagram earring and asked, “Daisy,


    does your family’spany sell earrings with this design?”

    “They were a gift from a friend, but I lost them and can’t find them anywhere.”


    “No womnes, I’ll ask my brother to check at the factory. If we don’t have them, I can have a pair made


    for you based on the picture”
