    Kami hollered at the woman about to enter the house, “Hey, Penelope, who said you coulde


    here?”


    Whether it was because she was too far away to hear or for some other reason, Allison didn’t respond


    and just followed Zoey into the


    living room.


    Kami’s fury ignited instantly due to Allison’s disregard. She strode over and yanked Allison’s arm.

    “Why should I apologize? It’s clearly her fault; why should I apologize?” Kami stomped her foot in


    anger, shot Allison a dirty look, and then ran back to her room.


    Lucian walked over to Allison, exining, “Kami has been spoiled since she was little. She’s not a


    bad person; don’t take it to heart.”


    Allison could tell that Lucian truly adored his sister.


    She chuckled, her tone slightly mocking, “It’s okay. I stole her beloved brother, it’s normal for her to be


    angry”


    Lucian was taken aback by her words. “Penelope” had always been careful around him. This was the


    first time he had seen her smile so freely, and it inexplicably warmed his heart.


    Allison didn’t notice this at all. She looked down at the tear in her dress, looking somewhat distressed,

    Lucian took her hand and led her upstairs, “Come with me.”
