    Agnes put her phone into her bag, muttering dismissively, “Well, he’s still better than you Jared’s


    self–centeredness hadn’t changed a bit over the past four years.


    He was all over Beatrice at the hotel entrance, but now he’s asking about Agnes love life.


    Agnes didn’t want to get tangled up with him too much.

    Jared stormed off in a huff.


    Agnes‘ face turned solemn.


    Ever since she came back, her ns had been disrupted because of Jared.


    The first time they met, Jared seemed like he wanted to choke her to death.


    And every time after that, Agnes could feel the hatred and anger from the bottom of his heart.


    Agnes was confused about Jared’s feelings towards her.
