    Albert suddenly turned serious, “I’ll take you to see your mom.”

    was like she had been through a bad breakup.”


    Naylor dismissed this, “That’s outrageous. She doesn’t have a boyfriend. How could she have a


    breakup? Septima’s been busy working all these years, taking care of Nocturne, she doesn’t have time


    for anything else. Could it be that Dr. Ryder has a girlfriend now?”


    In everyone’s eyes, the man Septima spent most time with in recent years, other than Jared, Kearney,
