    Valeria was the woman Alyssa had always wanted to set up with Jared.

    “He probably had more pressing matters to attend to.” Agnes shrugged it off.

    “Ms. Pritchard,” Valeria stopped her. “My father went to a meeting at the hotel in the next block today,


    but he went alone, no secretary in tow.”


    Valeria moved closer to Agnes, “Maybe you should check on your stepmother’s whereabouts, you
