<h4>473 Phoenix Trial Part 2</h4>


    The process repeated. As soon as he opened the gate, he was sucked and teleported to another ce.


    This time, it was the same in white world. Instead of a wooden trail, he could see a dirt trail on the ground. He did not waste any time and immediately followed the trail.


    He just walked patiently and waited until the next opponent to appear.


    Bryan, the former king of Zircodina Kingdom, suddenly appeared before his eyes. He suddenly charged at him the moment Alex was in sight.

    He continued to the third ce that had the same trail, but there were grasses around the dirt trail. It felt like the white world started evolving.


    After beating the third boss, who was one of the assassins that poisoned Alicia, Alex went to fourth ce. This time, the sky was added inside the white world, but it was always sunny.


    It seemed he was right. Every time he teleported to the next ce, a certain scenery would be added into this ce. He thought this must be the trial. Beat the boss and went to the next ce. And he would finish this trial when he had filled all the details in this world.


    He tried to finish the trial as soon as possible. This was an easy task for him since even if the enemy was a Martial King, he did not have any problem. It would end in an instant.


    However, Alex found something ridiculous.


    At the end of his trial, the world had been filled with many things such as dirt, grasses, trees, even wind breeze suddenly disappeared. The world became in white again, without having any single detail.


    "What is this? Did I just restart my progress?" Alex grumbled. For a moment, he thought he had finished the trial and was ready to go back. But all of it vanished and the world was restarted.


    "Am I stuck in this world forever?" Alex frowned.


    Although he was filled with anger, he still did not forget that he needed to calm down. It only took him a few seconds to calm his heart.


    After cooling down that hot head, he suddenly noticed something different from before. He did not know why, but he smelled heat. He tried to search for the trail and found a sand trail on the ground.


    "This… Is this actually a different ce?" Alex asked himself. "Is the Trial not over yet? This is the only possibility, if not, I would already go back."


    He had many questions inside his head, but it was a matter of fact that his trial had yet to finish. He took a deep breath before walking this path again.


    Not long after that, he suddenly found the boss again… he might need to ssify them as bosses as he could see there were two people blocking him. He had not seen their faces, so Alex thought it must be a different person. But they were wearing Zhou Kingdom''s armors, so he spected that he had met them.


    In fact, after considering all the people he had met earlier, he could say that those people were killed by him in the past. Because of this, he thought the enemies would always be the people he killed in the past.


    He shuddered the moment he thought of that. He had killed many people, a few ten thousand at that. He was wondering if he needed to defeat all of them in this trial. It would take forever if that were the case.


    Alex shook his head and proceeded forward after killing the two illusions. The details were added one by one as hepleted each stage. If the previous ce was in, then this ce was a desert.


    The sand, cacti, dead bushes, bones, and the other details started filling this second world.


    He also needed to fight two people every time at this stage. He even needed to restore his energy after a few fights.


    After he finished the second world, he arrived at the new ce without any details. He immediately checked his surroundings. This time he found another trail. The trail was a muddy ground with water flooding on top of it. It was hard to walk, let alone fighting.


    Alex kept thinking about how to fight the bosses when he arrived at the end. Unexpectedly, the bosses multiplied again from two to four.


    If not because he was lucky that the enemy had the same condition as him, he would be at a disadvantage. Although he needed to fight harder, the reward was also bountiful. He almost reached 3-Star Martial King in this ce alone.


    The fourth world was a jungle. Alex was sure about it after he looked at the grassy trail filled with dead leaves, branches, and vines.


    He concluded that the world would continue to change after finishing the previous world… no, he might need to call it biome. He had met four biomes this entire time, in, Desert, Swamp, and Jungle.


    He was wondering how many biomes he would need to finish before he finished the trial. This might be the reason why it was called Will and Perseverance. ording to his spections, he would need around three more, unless this trial suddenly made an alien biome or space biome…


    However, he indeed found another problem. It was the bosses. In this fourth biome, he needed to fight 8 Martial Kings. Although they were only 1-Star, it was still hard to fight them simultaneously and with this kind of environment. He could not fly in this ce or used his Sky Step, so his movement was pretty restricted.


    However, a blessing came after the misfortune. The energy that was released to the air was also doubled. This let him advance to 3-Star Martial King.


    The next biome was a snowy ce. The cold did not bother him, so he was fine. In fact, he thought it was better than the previous one. In this biome, he could melt the snow in his surroundings with his fire, making a free space to move.


    Even when the enemy multiplied again to sixteen, he was able to kill them pretty easily. The energy here was also bountiful, so he was a bit thankful to this biome.


    Finally, the sixth biome, the hardest biome he had experienced. He was forced to walk underwater and could not use his Spiritual Energy to help him. He could breathe underwater though.

    Unfortunately, he also took damages in this ce. His body was full of shallow wounds and superficial injuries. He took all the time he needed to recover as he knew the next ce would be harder.


    Surprisingly, the seventh ce had the same trail as the first biome. He was perplexed as he thought it should not be the same.


    Afterpleting a few times, it turned out that he was in a vige. He was perplexed at first considering a vige was not a biome, but that was answered in the eighth ce.


    He was transported to the modern world. He could see skyscrapers and so on. When he fought with the enemies, many buildings were shattered and the earth became chaotic.     "This test tells you that there are many environments one can grow up in, it can always be your starting point. This will take your will and perseverance to choose whether you want to be normal and die ording to your fate, or take up your weapon and be stronger.


    "If you don''t have a will to survive or the perseverance to stay alive and be the hunter instead of the prey, you won''t be able to reach this ce.


    "You might even die on your way here, whether it is because of the environment or your enemies, especially in thest world. You have proved yourself you can withstand all of that with your strong will and clever mind. As long as you are not giving up, there is always a chance for you. You even manage to increase your power in this trial.

    Alex froze upon reading this. It was true that he was frustrated to try and try again, especially when it became harder and harder. His patience was almost run out and his system did not want to help him in this trial. There was also Sherry and Anya that made him impatient.
