When the sphere of light caught hold of Nangong Wei, the viper-like, ck mist was wrested out of the ck Ho Demon King''s control and vanished rapidly. Nangong Wei regained her mobility. She had been in a panic, and naturally knew that it was Wu Yu who had done this, which surprised her.
"What is this?!" The ck Ho Demon King saw that Nangong Wei had actually been shielded from his grasp by this light sphere. He flew into a terrible rage, raising both hands to shoot forth keen, ck stingers from his fingertips. They were all embedded in the Indestructible State Talisman''s power. He was taken aback.
"What talisman is this!? It''s so strong! What are you two doing? Earn your keep! Kill that bugger!"
If not for the fact that the Three-Headed Thunder Eagle and the Sandstorm Vulture had not finished Wu Yu off, he would not be faced with such a hairy situation.
The Three-Headed Thunder Eagle and the Sandstorm Vulture were frustrated as well. Wu Yu had shrunk to his smallest form with the Lawful Embodiment of Heaven and Earth, and was weaving in and out of the Cloud Piercing Demon Tree on his Somersault Cloud. The two demons were experienced, but they could not catch Wu Yu. Instead, they had allowed Wu Yu to use the Indestructible State Talisman.
"I will go as well!" The Holy Golden-Armored Bug rushed forth also, and the three old demons went to deal with Wu Yu. As for the ck Ho Demon King, he still did not think that the talisman had gotten the better of him.
"All your efforts are futile before me." The ck Ho Demon King sneered.
Within the Indestructible State Talisman, Nangong Wei was still looking doubtfully at Wu Yu, being pursued by the three demons. She seemed to be trying to puzzle out why Wu Yu would save her....
The ck Ho Demon King did not expect the three of them to be unable to finish off Wu Yu together. But before their very eyes, Wu Yu somersaulted and vanished from view. He was gone without a trace, as if he had disappeared into thin air!
The three demons looked at each other. But they did not dare to look at the ck Ho Demon King....
Wu Yu had actually gone to the other side of the Cloud Piercing Demon Tree. The tree was just too big.
Wu Yu did not slow down. He grew from his smallest to his biggest size with the Lawful Embodiment of Heaven and Earth, and again pulled out his Infernal Sky Pir of Nine Fetters. His fiery gaze turned on one target only - the trunk of the Cloud Piercing Demon Tree!

This was a disaster for the ck Ho Demon King. Wu Yu had moved so quickly that they were still wondering where Wu Yu had disappeared to by the time the Cloud Piercing Demon Tree had awoken!
Standing in the skies above and watching the millions of branches waving violently in the air, tearing up the clouds, the scene was just too fascinating to watch. The ck Ho Demon King was lost somewhere below, and Wu Yu could see clearly with his Eyes of Fire and Gold that the Three-Headed Thunder Eagle and the Sandstorm Vulture were trying to talk themselves out of the mess while keeping themselves safe. But the Cloud Piercing Demon Tree was mad with anger now. No matter what they did, the billowing gusts of wind continued to buffet them, until all that was heard was their yelping. Golden light also shed from below, and Wu Yu guessed that the ck Ho Demon King and the Holy Golden-Armored Bug''s outlook was bleak as well.
Even so, he still rushed in!
He had to find Nangong Wei.
She was currently in the Indestructible State Talisman, and should not be in much danger. The Indestructible State Talisman had its own innate defenses.

However, at least Nangong Wei had been protected. When he reached the valley, he used his Eyes of Fire and Gold, but he discovered that Nangong Wei was no longer here!
"She fled?" He had ascertained that she had flown in this direction, but all traces of her were gone. There were only the remnants of the Indestructible State Talisman.
Wu Yu scanned the area with his Eyes of Fire and Gold, gradually erging the radius. He was sure now that Nangong Wei had fled alone.
He naturally wanted to continue searching, but he was too close to the ck Ho Demon King, and in imminent danger. At least Nangong Wei had escaped danger this time. Wu Yu thought that he would first go pick up the Full Moon of Nanshan and Ye Xixi before continuing after Nangong Wei.
