Chapter 150
In the huge private room, a few middle-aged men in suits sat on the sofa, each apanied by
one or two beautiful women.
Izabe''s appearance was well-known in R City, and as she entered, the lights in the room seemed
to dim, making the other beautiful women apanying the men look in.
Izabe nced around, finally fixing her gaze on the man sitting in the middle. She finally
understood why the voice on the phone had sounded familiar.
Although this was her first time in an underground venue, she had some understanding of its
background and knew the name of the person who established it.
Heckter Dees casually waved at her and said, "Ms. Salotti, have a seat."
Izabe was mainly here to take Lucas away, but after looking around, she didn''t see him. She
stood still and asked, "Where''s Lucas?"
"Go, bring him up," Heckter ordered his subordinate.
The waiter left after delivering the new drinks, and the door was left open. Izabe stood in the
center of the room, facing everyone''s gaze, she was neither shy nor nervous.
After a while, she heard noises from outside, and the bodyguard kicked Lucas into the room.
Lucas fell face-first on the ground, his hands tied behind him, unable to move. His eyes darted
around in panic, but when he saw Izabe, they lit up. He crawled towards her on his knees:
"Izabe, take me away quickly."
Izabe frowned, there was a hint of annoyance in her eyes. She took a card out of her bag, "There
are 4.5 million dors in this card. Extend the repayment term for the remaining 5.5 million."
Heckter raised an eyebrow, somewhat surprised. He had always liked working with direct people,
but it was rare to see someone as brisk as Izabe, who didn''t ask a single question and just
handed over the money.
Heckter lit a cigarette, his eyes half-closed, "I appreciate the trust, Ms. Salotti."
"If someone else owed 10 million, I might have to consider the problem. But him," Izabe nced
dismissively at Lucas on the ground, "losing 10 million is normal for him, and I believe Mr. Dees
wouldn''t try to swindle me."
Heckter flicked the cigarette ash and signaled his subordinate to check the money on the card
Izabe handed him.
"It is indeed 4.5 million."
Heckter: "When do you n to pay the remaining 5.5 million, Ms. Salotti?"
The original agreement over the phone was a week, which would be impossible for Izabelle toe
up with.
Izabe answered honestly, "A week is too tight. I can''te up with that much money. Can you
give me a month?"
"I might ept a month, but the interest has to increase. You have to give 7 million."
The original $5.5 million rose by $1.5 million in a month, which was an umon increase even for
high-interest loans. It seemed they had decided to take advantage of her.
"Can''t afford that much, Ms. Salotti?" Heckter''s face showed a hint of malice.
Izabe stood still, her pupils shrinking slightly.Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDra/ma.O(r)g!
"And what if I can''t?"
"Just like what I''ve said on the phone, I will break his hand and send him to prison." Thisrge sum
of money would be enough for Lucas to spend a few years in jail.
Heckter was not kind, once Lucas went to prison, he''d arrange a few people to "take care" of him,
and Lucas might die without even knowing how.
Izabe''s hand tightened slightly, and she stared coldly at the onlookers around her.
After a moment, she smiled softly, stood in front of Lucas, and suddenly raised her foot and kicked
him hard in the abdomen!
Izabe put a lot of strength into this kick, and Lucas curled up on the ground in pain, cursing and
yelling in pain.
No one had anticipated Izabe''s actions.
Heckter''s hawk-like eyes were filled with curiosity, and his smile froze on his lips.
"To be honest, we don''t have any feelings beyond the blood ties," Izabe said. "Mr. Dees, if you
want to threaten me with him, I''m afraid you''re mistaken. Give me a month to pay back the 10
million dors, or forget it."
Dealing with someone like Heckter meant she had to be colder and fiercer than him. She could
never let him take advantage of her; it''s better to fight and die together.
Heckter asked, "Since you two don''t have much of a rtionship, why did youe here today?"
Izabe''s foot remained on Lucas, she smiled, then sighed helplessly, "The 10 million dors was
for buying off our sibling rtionship, but if it exceeds my ability to afford it, his life or death has
nothing to do with me. I can''t risk myself to save him, can I? And besides, he''s really not worth 10
million dors."
