Chapter 83
Presley arranged a young female doctor for Izabe, 25 years old, named Amelia.
Amelia had long, soft hair tied in a bun, making her face look very young.
Izabe''s first impression of Amelia was that of a cheerful and lively good girl, but after chatting for
10 minutes, she didn''t see her smile at all, and her temperament was quite dull.
When Amelia knew Izabe was pregnant, she said straight-faced, "You''re not in a good condition
to be pregnant right now."
Izabe was stunned and turned to look at Presley.
“Don’t look at him. You know your own body, and whether it''s for the child or for yourself, it''s not
suitable for pregnancy. Just find a time to get an abortion," Amelia added a few examples, even
clearer than Izabe had thought.
"You can''t me me for speaking bluntly, but I''m just stating the facts. Whether you want to keep
the baby or not, it''s up to you."
This girl was so straightforward that it''s kind of scary. Izabe''s impression of her changed. In two
words, she''s reliable.
Both Presley and the previous doctor who checked her advised her to have the baby. Only Amelia
advised her to get an abortion.
Izabe gently ced her hand on her abdomen. "I''m nning on getting rid of it too."
Amelia nodded in agreement, "But your situation is not suitable for an abortion now. Let''s wait for a
week or two for you to get better ande back to the hospital. I''ll perform the surgery for you
personally."
Amelia had heard about Izabe''s fear of pain from Presley.
Izabe nodded.
The two of them settled the matter like this, with Presley on the side unable to put even a word in,
giving Amelia a somewhat resentful look. All the persuasion before was in vain.
Amelia wasn''t aware of Presley''s hints, and she said to Izabe, "Then you''ll be my patient from
now on."
"Alright." Despite Amelia''s young age, Izabe felt a sense of security being around her.
Amelia prescribed some medicine for Izabe, which cost over 700 dors. She took her medicine
and test results and left the examination room.
Ryker was still waiting for her outside the door, expressionless.
There were many people in the hospital, and when they saw such a handsome man standing there,
they all turned their heads to look.
Ryker seemed to hate being stared at and lowered his head. When he saw Izabee out, his
eyes lit up and he walked towards her.
Izabe held the bag, "Let''s go back.”
Ryker nodded and took a cautionary nce at Presley standing beside Izabe. Seeing him petting
Izabe''s head, he clenched his fist.
He didn''t like this doctor.
Presley was going to send Izabe out of the hospital but was called to the surgical ward by a
nurse.
Izabe walked ahead, and Ryker followed her closely, staring at her long hair. He raised his hand
wanting to pet her head as well, but in the end, rationality made him put his hand down.
The dean said not to touch girls randomly. It’s not polite.
Izabe didn''t notice Ryker''s thoughts at all.
"Do you know that doctor?"
"What?" Izabe turned her head and saw Ryker''s curious expression. She could roughly
understand what he wanted to ask.
She replied, "He''s a brother I grew up with."
Hearing that it was just a brother, Ryker''s frowned brow rxed, and his whole person seemed
joyful.
Izabe had been watching his face since then, and at this moment, it was like the sun breaking
through the clouds, so dazzling that she couldn''t look away.
Izabe shook her head secretly, not knowing why she had to exin her rtionship with Presley
to Ryker.
When they reached the hospital entrance, Izabe hailed a taxi and went back to the orphanage
first. When they arrived, Ryker got off the car and waited for her.
"You go back, I won''t go with you."
Ryker got anxious. He wasn''t very smart, so when he encountered difficulties, he could only stomp
his feet and stand in ce anxiously, unable to speak tactful words. He shook his head and said,
"No."
"Don''t worry, I''lle back another day."
Ryker didn''t believe it. He had seen too many people who never came back after leaving the
orphanage, and he had heard what Izabe said from others many times, they never kept their
words.
"My car is still parked at the orphanage, and I can''t drive it today. I''ll definitely go back to pick it up
another day," Izabe patiently persuaded him, "Trust me, I''lle back for sure, and I''ll bring you
cookies then."
"Really?" Ryker''s clear eyes were already turning red, looking quite pitiful.
"Really!" Izabe assured him again, "You be good at the orphanage and help the dean take care of
the children, okay?"
Izabe softened her tone, her voice tender, and Ryker reluctantly looked at Izabe.
"Okay."
Izabe closed the car door and told the driver to leave.
The car had driven quite a distance, and she could still see Ryker''s figure in the rearview mirror.
There was a strange feeling in her heart. Izab couldn''t quite describe it. It was like eating ice
cream mixed with medicine - sweet at first, then bitter, and finally all kinds of vors lingering in her
heart made her feel ufortable.
She saw her own shadow in Ryker. She used to also watch Brett leave from afar like this, and so
anxiously waiting for every answer he gave. All content ? N/.?vel/Dr/ama.Org.
She couldn''t understand why she could see these things in Ryker as well when they barely knew
each other for a day.
Could it be that the idiot had fallen for her?
What Izabe didn''t know was that Ryker liked her so much that he wanted to hide her away from
the world.
Ryker had a profound and inexplicable sense of dependency on Izabe. He not only cared deeply
for her, but also felt a strong sense of pity for her and couldn''t bear to see her in pain. In fact, the
mere thought of her suffering caused him to go into a frenzy, making him feel as though he was
losing his mind. When he saw someone else touch her, he''d be jealous. If Izabe suddenly ignored
him, he''d do everything he could to make her happy.
