Introduction: In modern day America most people have powers beyond the norm.  Pax, a teenage boy in America's most powerful family, does not.  Set on the path of revenge he receives advice and training from a self proclaimed dragon, and is forced to journey to another world to save those he loves.Author Note: Tempest is both set in a fictional city in modern day America, and a whole new fantasy world that our main character is thrust into.I've been inspired by too many fantasy stories to list, worm, and the 40k universe.  You may see me borrow some things but I'm trying to keep my story as fresh and original as possible.  I have no editor so my grammar is not great.    T.T I'm doing this for fun, but I do hope at least someone finds it interesting.  Enjoy!...
