This post is strictly dedicated to provided you with the understanding of my ranking system among many other elements that may come up in the near future. This will be a easy gateway for you to understand and go back to if you have questions. So without further ado, I will give a brief definition of key elements and then provide you with a semi detailed table.
Divine Laws - Set up by the Church of Ascension, Divine Laws were declared to state there to be nine ranks for both a magician and a warrior. For each rank there is a trial of the mind that must be passed before the mind could gain a full understanding of the new rank.
Laws of Cultivation - This law follows the Divine Laws by which the ranking system of the world adheres to and the trials of the mind correspond with. It is a Law that each individual has different cultivation capabilities and can become more powerful accordingly. These are usually factored by genetics but can be altered by other things as well.
Trials of the mind - These trials are different for every individual and are based upon the integrity of their mind. If a individual is not able to pass their trial of the mind then it is said that their mind would never again be able reestablish connection with the next rank.

(I was trying to determine a way to call each rank something special but I couldn''t think of anything, except rank nine being the rank of enlightenment. If you have an useful input or questions regarding anything don''t hesitate to comment or message me.)
I am nearing completion of my next chapter and hopefully in a short while I will have a map of the world available. Until then I also have a hierarchy ranking system that you can view as well. Since aristocracy starts to play a major role in my novel from now on.
