As Yanis was about to leave the car, Haider thought of something and called out to her, stopping her in
her tracks. "Yanis?"

Haider got out of the car, walked over to Yanis, and then spoke, "Could you talk to Bonnie for me?"
Yanis raised an eyebrow, "Talk to Bonnie? About what?"
Haider nodded and leaned casually against the car, speaking softly, "I know it''s been less than a year
since Myles passed away, and it''s impossible for her to jump into a new rtionship right away. But she
has been carrying feelings for him all this time and even nned to be with him for the rest of her life.
However, I don''t think Myles would want her to dwell on him forever."
Yanis understood the underlying meaning of Haider''s words.
"I understand, but convincing her now might be difficult," Yanis replied. She mentioned, "She said she
dreamed of Myles."

As Haider finished speaking, his phone rang. It was a call from Eduard.

"Mr. Hughs, a video of Miss Thompson meeting with a smallpany''s boss before joining the
Frowning, Haider asked, "But Sandy is in a temporary retirement state now. How could this happen?"
"It''s probably because of the recent situation with Mr. Hawkins, and that has brought attention to Miss
Thompson''s previous actions as well," Eduard exined.
Haider furrowed his brow even more, "I see. I''ll go back to thepany now."
After hanging up the call, Haider put away his phone and looked at Yanis, saying softly, "I need to go
back to thepany. You can take care of things here."
Yanis had overheard Haider''s conversation earlier, so she asked, "Is something wrong with Sandy?"
Haider didn''t hide anything from Yanis and told her about Eduard''s report. Yanis didn''t know what to
say after hearing Haider''s exnation.
In the entertainment industry, not many people were truly clean. Sandy had been deceived and taken
some detours before entering the industry, but she had been resilient and determined not to sumb
to temptations. So, in this industry, truly clean individuals were rare.
Yanis finally said, "You go take care of it."
Haider nodded, greeted Yanis, and then left immediately.
After Haider''s departure, Yanis turned and entered the shop. Linda and Stanley were already back and
tidying up the mess outside.
Upon seeing Yanis, Linda approached her, asking, "Yanis, is the boss alright?"
Yanis shook her head, "He''s fine. Have you finished tidying up?"
Linda replied, "Almost."
Hearing this, Yanis reassured them, "Don''t worry; the Cooke family will handle this. You don''t need to
be concerned."
Stanley came over and asked in a low voice, "Is this trouble caused by the Read family?"
Yanis nodded, "The Cooke family will handle everything. You don''t need to worry."
After a brief silence, Yanis sighed, "I''m not quite sure why the Read family suddenly came after Bonnie.
Mia''s case had already been settled, so they shouldn''t have any reason toe after her again. But
with the police involved now, this matter will be resolved soon."
Stanley didn''t say anything further after Yanis''s exnation.
Yanis had intended to help with the cleanup, but Linda and Stanley had already done most of it, so they
didn''t need her assistance anymore.
"Yanis, you can go if you have something to do. We''ll finish up here," Linda said.
Yanis responded, "Alright, once you''re done, you can go home."
After saying goodbye to Linda and Stanley, Yanis left the shop and headed straight to the small
apartment.
As she parked her car in front of the apartment, she noticed that Mitch had just returned with Mia. Mia
rushed into Yanis''s arms upon seeing her, "Sister Yanis!"
Yanis embraced Mia, asking with a smile, "Why did school end sote today?"
Mia happily replied, "I was named one of the top students! The teacher asked Brother to fill out some
information."
Yanis praised her, "You''re amazing, Mia!"
Mitch approached them and greeted Yanis, "Yanis."
Yanis nodded, "Let''s go inside."
As they entered, Yanis saw Reed sitting on the sofa in a daze. Their conversation had been loud, but it
seemed to have gone unnoticed by Reed.
Yanis told Mia to go to her room and put her schoolbag away. Then she turned to Mitch, asking, "Did
she tell you anything?"
