The housekeeper, upon hearing Yanis'' voice, walked over to Yanis. "Mrs. Lawrence, what''s the
matter?"
"I can''t finish all this food by myself. Join me for dinner," Yanis said softly.
The housekeeper shook her head repeatedly. "Mrs. Lawrence, you go ahead and eat. It''s not proper for
me to sit at the table."
Yanis stood up and personally pulled out a chair for the housekeeper. "There are no rules here. I don''t
want to have dinner alone tonight, so please have a meal with me."
The housekeeper hesitated at Yanis'' words but finally turned and went to the kitchen to fetch another
set of utensils. "Mrs. Lawrence, please sit."
Seeing the housekeeper with the utensils, Yanis sat back down.
After Zane hired this housekeeper, Yanis hadn''t learned much about her background. After all, Zane
would only hire people with a clean background.

After hearing Yanis'' words, Ivan whispered, "I happen to be going near M University tomorrow. I''ll go
and check on her, and I''ll send you a message with any updates."
Yanis acknowledged with a "mm-hmm." "Thank you for your help."
"If you keep being so polite to me, it''ll be really awkward."
Yanis chuckled softly. "Alright, I won''t be polite then. But please do go and check on her tomorrow;
otherwise, Auntie will worry."
