Chapter 903: Always Be Good To Her In The Future
Chapter 903: Always Be Good to Her in the Future
An reached out and took the shirt from Reed''s hand, quickly changing into it. "I didn''t n on
returning it to him anyway."
Reed watched An change his clothes and finally spoke up. "Why did you put your clothes back on?"
An straightened his shirt with his hand. "It''s a bit cold, so I decided to put it on for now."
After saying that, An stood up. "I''m going out for a bit. I''ll be back in about half an hour."
"Are you going to the town?" Reed asked.
An shook his head. "No, I''ll just wander around outside. I''ll be back soon. Don''t worry, I won''t go find
Felix and the others."
Reed nodded. "Be careful with your wound."
"Okay."
An was worried about keeping Mia, the little brat, waiting for too long. He didn''t want her to add
another debt to his tally, so he hastily left Reed''s room and went to the front gate to find Mia.
When An went outside, Mia was already standing at the front gate.
"Why did you take so long?" Mia looked at An with some dissatisfaction.
An exined in a gentle tone, "I had to put on clothes beforeing out, right?"
Mia responded with an "Oh." "Let''s go."
An looked at Mia as she turned and walked to one side. He whispered behind her, "Where are we
going?"
"Just follow me," Mia replied.
An murmured in agreement and followed behind Mia.
After walking for a while, An could roughly guess where Mia was taking him.
"Mia, are you sure we should go there at this time?" An couldn''t help but ask in a low voice.
Mia turned her head and looked at him. "What''s wrong? Are you scared?"
"I''m not scared, I''m just worried that you might get scared."
"You don''t need to worry about that. Just walk faster," Mia said.
"Alright," An sighed.
An''s guess turned out to be urate.
Mia brought him to Chen Juan''s grave.
"Kneel down," Mia said as she knelt down first.
An nced at the photo on the tombstone and also knelt down.
"You swear that from now on, you''ll be extra, extra good to Reed. No scolding her, no bullying her, no
making her unhappy, and you definitely can''t make her cry. You have to make sure she has beautiful
clothes to wear, lots of good food, and... and she has to be happy every day," Mia said, looking at An
intently.
After hearing Mia''s words, An raised his hand and, in a solemn gesture, looked at Chen Juan''s
tombstone, repeating what Mia had said word for word.
After finishing, An turned his head and looked at Mia. "Is this enough?"
Mia nodded. "It''s enough."
After saying that, Mia kowtowed to Chen Juan''s grave and then stood up.
Following Mia''s lead, An also kowtowed before standing up.
Mia reached out and grabbed An''s hand. "Let''s go quickly."
An looked at Mia. "Are you scared?"
"It''s not just my dad and mom here. There are others too," Mia said as she walked away.
An bent down and squatted in front of Mia. "Let me carry you. We''ll walk faster."
Mia looked at An, hesitating. "I''m quite heavy."
"Don''t worry, I''m not afraid. Hop on," An reassured her.
Mia nced behind her and quickly climbed onto An''s back. "Let''s go."
"All right," An agreed and started walking, taking slow steps.
Mia couldn''t help but urge him in a low voice, "An, walk faster."
"Youngdy, what do you call me?" An teased.
"Don''t you go by An?" Mia asked.
"I am An, but you can''t call me that," An replied.
"Then what should I call you?"
"Call me ''bro.''"
Mia paused for a moment. "No, if you''re really together with Reed, shouldn''t I call you ''brother-inw''?"
Upon hearing Mia''s words, An chuckled softly. "Mia, if you start calling me ''brother-inw,'' I might just
start running away."
"What if I don''t call you that?"
"Then I''ll walk slowly. After all, I''m not afraid."
"If you dare, I''ll tell my sister you''re bullying me. She won''t be nice to you anymore."
"In that case, say ''brother-inw'' and let me hear it," An deliberately slowed his pace.
Mia, determined, hooked her arms around An''s neck. "Walk faster!"
"Call me ''brother-inw.''"
"I won''t."
An came to a stop. "Then I won''t walk anymore."
After Mia saw An stop, she immediately called out, "Brother-inw! Brother-inw, please keep
walking!"
Anughed and continued walking at a faster pace.
When they returned home, it was already dark outside.
"Mia?" Mitch and Yanis were standing at the doorstep, conversing. When they saw An carrying Mia
on his back, Mitch approached them. "What happened?"
Mia shook her head. "Put me down."

An gently ced Mia on the ground. "She may look small, but she''s surprisingly heavy to carry."
Mia nced at An. "You''re the heavy one."
After saying that, Mia greeted Mitch and Yanis before rushing inside the house.
Once Mia had left, Mitch looked at An. "Where did you two go sote?"
"Just wandering around," An replied casually.
With that, An turned to Yanis and Mitch. "What were you talking about? Where''s Zane?"
"He''s inside," Yanis answered.
An nodded. "You guys continue. I''ll go find him."
Yanis watched An''s figure as he walked away. She whispered to Mitch, "I think Mia has finally
epted him."
"If she didn''t, she wouldn''t let him carry her," Mitch replied in a soft voice.
"That''s good," Yanis said, looking at Mitch. "Let''s keep this house. It can be our refuge when wee
back."
Mitch agreed with a nod. "Okay. You and Natasha can go back first in a couple of days, and Reed and I
will stay here."
"Sounds good."
The next morning, Yanis and Zane packed their belongings and took Natasha, Mia, and Taylor Payne
back to Manches City.
An chose to stay behind with Mitch and Reed. Both An and Yanis shared the same concerns. If
Mitch were alone, it would be fine, but with Reed around, An was worried.
Even though they had L and the others, An decided to stay. After Yanis and Zane left, Mitch
turned to An. "You and Reed go ahead. I''ll buy some things ande upter."
An agreed. "Bring L along."
Mitch nodded. "You call him."
An called L and asked him to join Mitch in buying some supplies to take up the mountain.
Afterward, An and Reed headed back up the mountain.
"Are you sure it''s okay for you not to go back to Manches City?" Reed asked An in a low voice as
they walked toward the car.
"Don''t worry, I''m fine. Evan is there," An assured her.
