    Chapter 880: Unrted and Unbothered


    After hearing Zane''s question, Madison''s expression became somewhat awkward. "I... I just wanted to


    talk to Yanis."


    Yanis interjected, "I''ve already made it clear earlier that there''s nothing for us to talk about. You do your


    thing as Mrs. Baxter, and we have nothing to do with each other."


    Following Yanis'' words, Zane looked at Madison and said, "Mrs. Baxter, did you hear what Yanis said?


    She''s now a Lawrence and has nothing to do with Mrs. Baxter."


    Zane''s tone was cold, and his demeanor wasn''t particrly gentle. Madison found herself at a loss for


    words.


    Having said that, Zane didn''t intend to say anything more to Madison. He reached out and held Yanis''


    hand, leading her away.


    However, just as they had taken a few steps, Madison caught up to them again. "Yanis, can''t we really


    talk?"


    Yanis furrowed her brows slightly. "Mrs. Baxter, there''s really no need for us to talk. There''s no point in


    dwelling on past matters. Personally, I think it''s better if we leave things as they are now and not bother


    each other."


    After Yanis finished speaking, she pulled Zane into the elevator.


    This time, Madison didn''t follow them.


    But as the elevator doors were about to close, Yanis saw Madison suddenly copse in front of the


    elevator and quickly pressed the button to keep the doors open.


    "Zane, call an ambnce," Yanis said, stepping out of the elevator and helping Madison, who had


    fallen to the ground.


    Zane nced at the unconscious Madison and immediately made the call.


    The staff members in the restaurant noticed the situation and hurried over.


    Because they were unsure of Madison''s condition, they didn''t dare to move her recklessly.


    After Zane made the call, he looked at one of the staff members nearby and said, "Check the


    surveince footage to see who came in with her."


    The staff member nodded and said, "I''ll go check right away."


    Soon, after reviewing the footage, the staff member went directly to the private room to find Ryan.


    Ryan came downstairs, observing Madison unconscious on the ground. He looked at Yanis and asked,


    "Did you call an ambnce?"


    Yanis responded, "Yes, I did."


    Ryan nodded. "Did she...e to see you?"


    Yanis affirmed with a soft "Mm."


    After a few seconds of silence, Yanis spoke again. "What happened to her? Does Ivan know?"


    Ryan sighed. "She didn''t want me to tell Ivan. It''s just her old habit. It''s nothing serious, so you don''t


    need to worry."


    After hearing Ryan''s words, Yanis didn''t say anything further.


    Since the hospital was close by, the ambnce arrived quickly. However, Yanis had no intention of


    going with Madison.


    It wasn''t because she was callous, but because Ryan said her condition wasn''t life-threatening.


    When Ryan got into the ambnce, Yanis looked at him and said, "Please let Ivan know about her


    situation."


    Ryan nced at Yanis''s face after hearing her words. "Alright."


    Yanis and Zane stood at the entrance, watching Ryan and the ambnce drive away before turning


    back into the restaurant.


    Zane asked Yanis in a low voice as they entered Banyan Garden, "Why don''t you call Ivan?"


    "Uncle Ryan will probably let Ivan know, and it''s not my ce to get involved in someone else''s family


    affairs."


    After hearing Yanis'' response, Zane lightly tapped her head with his hand. "Then let''s not worry about


    other people''s matters."


    Yanis nodded. "


    Not worrying about it."


    In truth,pared to Martin and Olivia, Yanis found it easier to get along with Olivia. Even though


    Olivia hadn''t treated her well in the past, they didn''t have any real connection. The fact that Olivia


    hadn''t outright killed her when they were young was already good enough.


    She was partial to Antonio because he was her own flesh and blood. For Olivia, she meant nothing,


    and her mere existence had cost Olivia her first child.


    So, whenparing the two, Yanis leaned more towards Olivia and Martin, who had simply given birth


    to her but saw her as a burden and handed her off to Olivia.


    Anika and Iris arrived just as the dishes were being served.


    "Hey, bro, sis-inw!" Anika greeted Zane and Yanis as she entered, then went ahead and sat next to


    Yanis.


    Iris hung Anika''s coat to the side and took a seat beside Zane. "Did you guys wait long? The traffic was


    really heavy, so it took a while."


    Yanis responded, "At this time, there''s usually a lot of traffic, so we thought you would take a while to


    get here."


    "I took a smaller road, and there were still a lot of cars. If I took the main road, it would have taken me


    another half an hour," Iris exined.


    They chatted for a while, and the dishes arrived just in time.


    After finishing their meal, Yanis turned to Anika and asked softly, "Are you going back tonight, Anika?


    How about staying at D-king Castle?"


    Anika nced at Iris before looking back at Yanis and whispered, "I want to go see the Old Mr. Duncan


    with Iris tonight."

    Hearing this, Zane looked up at Anika. "Tonight?"


    "Is it not suitable for tonight? Then let''s go tomorrow. Dr. Wu said it''s okay for me to wait another two or


    three days before going back. I won''t wander around," Anika replied, looking at Zane.


    "Let''s go to D-king Castle first tonight, and tomorrow we''ll go to the Old Mr. Duncan''s house together,"


    Zane suggested.


    Anika nodded in agreement. "Sounds good. I''ll stay with you guys at D-king Castle tonight, and


    tomorrow we''ll go see the Old Mr. Duncan together."


    After saying that, Anika looked at Iris and asked in a low voice, "Is that okay?"


    Iris had no objections. "No problem. However, I might not have time during the day. I can only go back


    after 3 PM."


    Yanis chimed in, "Then we''ll leave the house a little after 2 PM and meet you at Duncan Residence."


    Iris nodded in agreement. "That works."


    At this point, Iris turned to Zane and said, "Mr. Lawrence, if you have nothing else tomorrow, let''s have


    dinner at Duncan Residence in the evening."


    Zane hesitated for a moment. "I''ll check my schedule tomorrow. If it''s toote for me to apany


    Anika, Yanis can take her, and I''lle overter."


    Iris agreed, "Alright."


    Leaving Banyan Garden, Yanis, Zane, and Anika returned to D-king Castle together.


    Yanis had initially nned to stay at home and apany Anika the next day, but she had to go to the


    store to make some changes for a client. She had no choice but to ask the housekeeper to take care of


    Anika and went to the store by herself.


    After finishing the handover with the client, Yanis nned to go back home. However, just as she


    reached the entrance, a group of people blocked her way.


    "You must be Yanis, right?" The man standing at the front pointed at Yanis and asked sternly.


    Yanis furrowed her brows and looked at the man in front of her. "Who are you?"


    "Never mind who we are. You being Yanis is enough," the man said, waving his hand toward the


    people behind him. "Take her away!"
