Upon hearing this, Linda responded, "Aunt Rivers is trying on clothes. I''ll go get her."
There was chaos and confusion as Yanis drove. From the store to the hospital, Yanis kept a tight grip
on the steering wheel.
The car stopped at the entrance of the hospital, and Yanis had Linda call for a doctor.
Soon, Nancy was wheeled onto a mobile bed and hastily taken into the delivery room.
Aunt Rivers took care of the necessary paperwork, and although Yanis had been pregnant before, she
had never experienced childbirth. Watching the doctors and nurses rushing around, her heart couldn''t

"Linda, do you have your phone with you?" Yanis turned to face Linda.

Yanis took the phone and called Sandy.
After dialing the number, there was no answer from Sandy''s side.
Yanis hesitated and sent a text message before making another call.

This time, Sandy quickly picked up the phone. "Yanis?"
"Sandy, I''m sorry. Something came up here, and it might take a while for me to go back. Are you still at
the store or on your way there?" Yanis asked.
Sandy responded, "I''m just one intersection away from the store."

"No, everything should be fine. I should be there in a while. Will you wait for me at the store, or should

Yanis nodded and replied, "Okay."
After ending the call, Yanis handed the phone to Linda and whispered, "Linda, do you want to go back
to the store first? I''ll take a cab backter."
Linda said, "You didn''t bring your phone, so how will you get backter? I''ll take a cab back, and you
can drive backter."
The store was busy today, so Linda definitely couldn''t stay here.
"Sounds good. You go back first, and I''ll drive backter," Yanis agreed.
Linda nodded, bid farewell to Yanis, and went back to the store.
Yanis stayed at the hospital alone.
"Family of Nancy!"
About two hours after Nancy went in, the doctor came out and called for her family.
Nancy''s husband stood up and greeted, "That''s me."
"Vaginal delivery seems to be difficult for the pregnant woman. We suggest a cesarean section."
Nancy''s husband responded, "Do whatever is best for the child."
When Yanis heard this, she couldn''t help but nce at Nancy''s husband''s face.
"Then please sign the consent form for the surgery," the doctor handed the agreement to Nancy''s
husband.
