Anthony walked in and stood next to Yanis and Bonnie. "Mrs. Lawrence, Miss Cooke, Nydia said
something inappropriate earlier. I brought her here to apologize to you."
Bonnie set down her bowl and looked up at Anthony. "Mr. Austi, I already told you earlier that I can''t
handle Miss Wagner''s apology, so there''s no need for her to apologize."
Pausing for a moment, Bonnie continued, "Besides, Yanis already took matters into her own hands and
confronted Miss Wagner. So let''s put this behind us. What do you think, Mr. Austi?"
Anthony nodded. "Yes, Mrs. Lawrence, Yanis certainly took action because of something Nydia said
inappropriately. So Yanis reprimanding her was not out of line. But an apology is still necessary."
After saying that, Anthony looked at Nydia and gave her a signal with his eyes.
Reluctantly, Nydia turned to Bonnie and made a slight bow. "Miss Cooke, I''m sorry for my inappropriate
words earlier. I apologize!"
Bonnie rarely saw Nydia like this. After all, when Nydia was around Mia before, she always carried

Yanis helped Bonnie pick up a dish. "Everyone has their own freedom of speech, and it''s not our ce
to interfere. We should just focus on being ourselves."
Bonnie murmured softly, "I know. I truly didn''t let those things she said bother me. It''s just... suddenly,
someone deliberately reminded me that Myles is gone, and I couldn''t snap out of it for a moment."
Yanis reached out and gently held Bonnie''s hand. "Let''s grab a bite to eat."
After finishing their meal, Yanis and Ste apanied Bonnie for a stroll before heading back to their
respective homes. Yanis first dropped Bonnie off at her small vi before driving back to D-King Castle.
When Yanis returned, Zane wasn''t home. Only the housekeeper was there, busy cleaning.
"Auntie, has Zane note back yet?" Yanis asked.
The housekeeper responded, "Mr. Lawrence received a call and hurriedly went out."
Hearing this, Yanis nodded, changed her shoes at the entrance, and picked up her phone to call Zane.
After several rings, Zane finally answered the phone. "Yanis."
"Auntie said you went out. Is everything alright?" Yanis sat down on the living room couch as she
spoke.
"It''s nothing. There''s something going on at thepany that I need to check on. Albi can''t handle it."
Zane reassured her.
Yanis didn''t suspect anything. "When will you be back?"
"It might bete. You should go to sleep first," Zane replied softly.
"Alright, finish up your work ande home early." Yanis agreed before bidding him goodnight, and
they hung up.
After Zane ended the call, Yanis got up and went upstairs. She took a shower and went straight to bed.
Feeling tired from the day''s events and knowing that tomorrow was the opening ceremony, requiring an
early start, Yanis fell asleep early.
Meanwhile, at No. 1 Hospital, in the emergency room.
Olivia sat in a chair, crying uncontrobly, struggling to catch her breath. She was on the verge of
passing out from crying so much. It had been two to three hours since Martin was rushed inside, and
there had been no good news yet.
When Zane arrived, Olivia was the only one waiting at the entrance.
"How is the situation?" Zane nced at the doors of the emergency room and asked in a low voice.
Olivia cried even harder upon hearing Zane''s words. She reached out and grabbed Zane''s clothes,
pleading, "Zane, save him..."
Zane furrowed his brows. "You didn''t know he went to the ck market?"
Olivia wiped her tears and said, "He didn''t tell me anything. Every day, he''d go out and tell me he was
busy with Antonio''s matters."
As Zane listened to Olivia, his brows furrowed even more. "Did you call the police?"
Olivia shook her head. "No... I didn''t dare. If I reported it, he would definitely get caught."
Zane pinched the bridge of his nose. "He was stabbed, and you''re not reporting it to catch the attacker?
Are you afraid he''ll get arrested?"
Albi, seeing Zane on the verge of losing control, hurriedly spoke up. "Mr. Lawrence, I''ve already called
the police. They have gone to the scene to gather evidence."
