    Chapter 693: Yanis, Will You Marry Me?


    Ivan chuckled, "They''ve known each other for over a decade, but Darin has never been very interested


    in a romantic rtionship. He''s had girlfriends over the years, but they always end up breaking up."


    "Does Mr. Walsh have feelings for Vivian?"


    Ivan shook his head. "I''m not sure about that. He never talks to me about his personal life."


    At this point, Ivan paused and said, "ording to what you just said, it seems like Vivian has feelings


    for Darin. Is this what they call ''familiarity breeds affection''?"


    Yanis replied softly, "I think Vivian likes Mr. Walsh."


    "Vivian thinks that Darin likes you and asked you to design jewelry for her friend just to confirm


    something," Ivan said.


    "Not really," Yanis replied. "She added me as a friend and said she wanted to introduce me to her


    friends."


    "They would make a good match if they were together," Ivan joked with Darin before.


    But at the time, Darin''s reaction was calm and he had no interest in pursuing anything with Vivian.


    He even spoke calmly saying: "It''s impossible; I can only be friends with Vivian at most."


    So Ivan felt that Vivian''s long-standing affection towards Darin was impressive.


    For more than ten years of liking someone without revealing any signs is quite remarkable.


    Perhaps this sudden disy of emotions was due to the fact that Darin went all the way from Manches

    Just as Ivan was about say something regarding Zane''s disappearance from sight - out of nowhere


    appeared someone familiar walking straight toward them


    Without alerting Yanis or anyone else present - slowly but surely - inch by inch - step by step- until


    finally reaching an area close enough where both could see each other clearlyZane and Yanis had


    distanced themselves from each other.


    As Zane stood beside Yanis, the entire hall wentpletely dark.


    Yanis instinctively reached out to grab Ivan''s arm.


    Zane timely held onto Yanis'' hand.


    When Ivan held her hand, Yanis hesitated for a moment before whispering, "Ivan, did the power go


    out?"


    Zane didn''t say anything but pulled her closer into his embrace.


    Yanis reflexively tried to push him away but as Zane got closer, she recognized his familiar scent and


    froze. "Zane?"


    He hummed in response and lowered his head to kiss her lips urately. "It''s me."


    Yanis wanted to ask more questions but Zane didn''t give her the chance. He deepened their kiss


    instead.


    While they passionately kissed in the darkness of the room, suddenly all of its lights turned on again


    catching Yanis off guard.


    At this unexpected turn of events, Yanis was startled while everyone who had been talking stopped and


    looked towards them both now standing still in front of them all with their hands sped together tightly


    by Zane''s side kneeling down on one knee before her now looking up at her directly in front of


    everyone else present there too watching intently upon what would happen next between these two


    lovers...


    Yanis was taken aback by this gesture while trying to process what was happening right before her

    This sudden proposal left Yanis speechless until Zanes'' deep voice rang out breaking through any


    silence that may have lingered around them both at this point: "Will you marry me?"


    And then suddenly every person present there also held heart-shaped balloons inscribed with three


    simple words: "I love you."

    One familiar voice after another sounded, which shocked Yanis even more. She didn''t expect that


    proposals could be contagious. First it was Myles, then Bonnie, and now it''s Zane''s turn.


    "Yanis, hurry up! Don''t let Scumbag regret itter!" Suddenly a very familiar voice came from the crowd.


    It was Bonnie''s voice.


    Yanis followed the sound and looked over. Bonnie made a heart gesture towards Yanis and silently


    said: "Congrattions on your dreaming true!"


    Perhaps only Bonnie understood her thoughts and aspirations clearly.


    Yanis withdrew her gaze and looked down at Zane who was half-kneeling in front of her. She reached


    out her hand.


    Zane temporarily put aside the flowers he held in his hand before grabbing Yanis'' hand gently slipping


    on the ring onto Yanis'' finger afterwards . After putting on the ring , Zane lowered his head to kiss


    Yanis'' fingertips lightly .


    Confetti sprayed everywhere as they fell onto Yanis'' head .


    Zane stood up from kneeling position, hugged Yanis openly amidst all cheering sounds . A passionate


    kiss followed...


    This sudden proposal made Yanis'' heart beat for a long time before finally calming down .

    Bonnie shrugged," Mr. Lawrence is rich enough to directly book us all ne tickets . Don''t we have to


    show Mr. Lawrence some respect?"
