    would do anything for her but now realized how wrong she was all along.

    Yanis tried not thinking about them. Then suddenly, the doorbell rang, pulling Yanis'' thoughts back


    slightly. She nced towards the door before getting up to open it. She thought Ste forgot something


    so Yanis opened the door without looking outside. But when Yanis saw Zane standing at the door, she


    was slightly stunned,"You... how did youe here?"


    Zane stood at the doorway facing Yanis,"To take you home."


    Yanis whispered,"Didn''t I tell you that I''m staying at Ste''s ce tonight?"


    Zane said nothing; he just looked at her like this,"Yanis, did I do something wrong?" When hearing


    Zane''s question, Yanis really didn''t know how to answer it for a moment. The two of them stood at the


    door, facing each other.


    They stood there for a while until Yanis stepped aside and said, "You go in first."


    Zane didn''t hesitate to step into the house.


    Yanis closed the door and sat down on the sofa in the living room. "Ste has gone out for something.


    She''ll be back soon. You can leave after a while."


    Yanis had no intention of going back with Zane because she wanted to calm down a bit.


    "Yanis, if there''s anything you need to talk about, we can solve it together. It makes me nervous when


    you act like this," Zane said after hearing her silence.


    Yanis nced at him but decided not to say anything because discussing their private matters in


    someone else''s home was inappropriate.


    After thinking for a moment, Yanis took out her phone and sent Ste a message saying that she had


    something urgente up and would be leaving tonight.


    Ste replied quickly asking how she would get home.


    Yanis said someone would pick her up.


    Ste sent over an audio message: [Okay then, just lock up when you leave. I have my key with me but


    I might bete getting back.]


    Yanis replied with an okay before putting away her phone and grabbing some things. "Let''s go," she


    said to Zane.


    Zane saw that Yanis was willing to go back with him so he got up from his seat and took what Yanis


    was carrying from her hands. "Let me help you," he offered.


    Without any objection from Yanis, he carried it as they walked out of the door together.


    When they got downstairs by the car, Albi was standing beside it looking at his phone.


    Hearing them approach Albi looked up briefly before pocketing his phone again saying "Mr. Lawrence,


    Mrs. Lawrence."


    Yannis nodded towards Albi before getting straight into the car without any further words exchanged


    between them.


    Zane intended on following behind Yannis but as soon as she entered he found himself left outside


    staring at closed doors wondering what happened next.


    "Mr. Lawrence," Albi called softly trying not startle him too much which worked seeing how focused


    Zane seemed on figuring things out."Yes?"


    Albi handed over his mobile device which contained messages from Ken regarding Samuel Marsh''s


    activities recently discovered by their team. Zanes expression twisted slightly upon reading through


    everything before tossing it back towards Albi "Have someone dig deeper into Samuel Marsh."


    Alibi nodded understandingly "Understood."


    "Let''s head back to D-King Castle first though," Zanes voice held authority even though he didn''t


    borate further than that statement alone . Zane spoke and then turned around, walking to the side


    where he opened the car door and sat inside.
