Chapter 651: Everything Will Be Alright from Now On.
Freddy''s and Old Mr. Cooke''s tolerance made Haider feel like he couldn''t go back tonight without
beating up Myles.
"So, since they''ve both agreed on this, if there are any good days during this time, let''s get engaged
first and then get married on a good day in the second half of the year," said Old Mr. Cooke seriously.
When Bonnie heard this, she looked up at Old Mr. Cooke with surprise. "Is it that urgent?"
"What? You''ve already put on their ring, can you still back out?"
Bonnie shrunk her neck. "I haven''t."
At this moment, Haider timely said: "I think what Old Mr. Cooke said is feasible. You choose a good day
during this time and I''ll take care of everything else."
"We''re all family here; we don''t need to be too calctive about it," Haider continued.
"The necessary procedures cannot be omitted though."
The engagement and marriage were directly decided by Freddy and Old Mr. Cooke after discussing
with Haider without consulting Myles or Bonnie.
Old Mr. Cooke was an impatient person who even checked the calendar after dinner to set the
engagement date.
It was scheduled for the end of this month- twenty days away.
Bonnie wanted to postpone it but was scolded by Old Mr. Cooke who even resorted to personal
attacks.
Bonnie didn''t say anything in response but went to find Myles in his study while everyone else chatted
excitedly for a while longer.
Myles wrote only a few hundred words in nearly an hour which annoyed Bonnie who asked him if he
couldn''t just use his phone to search online instead?
When Myles heard her voice, he looked up at her and asked: "Are you full?"
"Hmm," replied Bonnie before asking him if he was hungry as she could help find something for him
eat?
Myles shook his head saying: "No need; I''ll eat when I''m done writing or my grandfather will not let you
marry me."
Bonnie didn''t tell Myles that their engagement had been finalized by three people already.
"Well then hurry up writing because unless they''re satisfied with your work today you won''t be able
leave," warned Bonnie.
Miles sighed before asking: "Can you give me some inspiration?""When Bonnie heard Myles'' words,
she immediately thought of the unfinished business in the car earlier and shook her head quickly. ''What
are you thinking?''
Myles couldn''t help butugh at Bonnie''s nervous expression. ''I meant for you to help me write a little
bit, I didn''t mean anything else. What were you thinking just now?''
Bonnie was taken aback. ''Write it yourself!''
As she turned to leave, Myles got up and quickly pulled her back. ''Wait, I won''t say anything else. Stay
here with me and I''ll write faster.''
Bonnie looked at his pitiful expression and decided to stay after all. ''Hurry up and write, I''ll supervise
you.''
Myles agreed obediently.
At first, Myles promised not to do or say anything inappropriate while writing.
But as he wrote on, everything turned into a confession of love for Bonnie.
He wrote over two thousand words of sweet nothings on several pages of paper until Freddy walked in
on him still writing.
Freddy didn''t call out to him but instead walked over quietly and saw that Myles had written "My love for
Bonnie is as clear as day..."
Freddy cleared his throat lightly before asking if he had finished yet.
Myles was startled by the sound and instinctively tried to cover what he had written when he looked up
at Freddy standing beside him saying "Uncle Cooke."
Freddy nodded before suggesting they go eat first without checking what Myles had written yet.
Myles wanted to tell him that he hadn''t finished yet but decided against it after some thought; instead
handing over the few pages that were already done with a sheepish grin saying "I''m done."
Freddy took them from him without looking at them himself but passed them straight onto Bonnie who
was sitting nearby saying "Keep these safe."
"Dad don''t you want to read them?" asked Myle''s puzzledly.
"No need," replied Freddy waving his hand dismissively while heading out towards the kitchen where
dinner was waiting for everyone.
After Freddy left, Myle''s quickly pecked Bonnie on her cheek before announcing "I''m going eat now
since I''m starving."
"Shall I heat something up for you?" asked Bonnie.
"No need; I can manage myself," replied Miles.
Originally intending on following behind Miles anyway just then Yanis called her phone which made her
pause momentarily answering with surprise: "Yanis?"
"Aren''ting back tonight? Are you still working in your studio?" Yanis asked through the phone line.
"You''re still there?" eximed Bonny incredulously"."I came to pick up something and saw that you
weren''t back yet," Bonnie said. "I might be staying on this side of the Cooke''s Mansion tonight, will you
stay here tonight too?"
Bonnie replied, "It doesn''t matter if it''s one day earlier orter."
"That''s fine. The store probably won''t let people stay anymore anyway. I''ll have to move back to the
apartmentter."
"They''re not letting people stay anymore?"
Bonnie exined, "There have been too many fires in storestely and they''ve issued an order not to
let people stay."
Yanis listened to Bonnie and said, "Then don''t stay there. Are you going back to the apartment? Not
staying at the Cooke''s Mansion?"
"I''ll see when I get there. Maybe I''ll just go home," Bonnie said.
The two chatted casually for a while before hanging up.
When Bonnie went out, Haider was just about to leave.
"Bonnie, I''m heading back now. Myles is staying on this side tonight," Haider greeted Bonnie as he saw
hering out.
Bonnie nodded and said, "I''ll walk with you."

She walked Haider all the way down to his car before saying goodbye with a reminder: "Haider, drive
slowly."
Haider turned around and looked at her before saying: "Myles did wrong this time but I will talk with him
about it. However, I still hope that you can forgive him."
"I don''t me him," Bonnie replied calmly."If it were me in his shoes, I might make the same choice."
Haider chuckled softly upon hearing her words: "You two are really made for each other."
"Sorry for making everyone worry," she smiled apologetically.
Haider patted her head gently before saying:"Take care of yourself from now on so we can rest
assured."
"Okay," she nodded as she watched Haider drive away before turning around and entering through the
door again.
Myles finished dinner then yed chess with Old Mr. Cooke until he was scolded by him for half an
hour before being released.
"Myles is sleeping over at my ce tonight."
Just as Myles was preparing to return with Bonnie into their room, Freddy suddenly spoke up like that.
Myles immediately stopped walking towards Freddy.
Even though Freddy didn''t allow Myles into his own room, it should still be in one of guest rooms. But
he didn''t expect Freddy would ask Myles himself instead .
"What? Don''t want?"Freddy asked while looking at Myles.
Miles quickly shook his head:"As long as Uncle Cooke doesn''t mind, I''m willing."
Freddy responded indifferently:"Go rest first, Bonnie."
Bonnie nced at Myles and replied, "Goodnight, Grandpa, Dad."
"Goodnight," they both said.
As Bonnie was leaving, she looked back at Myles. He smiled and silently said, "Goodnight."
