Chapter 505 The Last Time Someone Saw Vincent
"Father, why are you here?" said Rosy, shivering. Lenny pped her face so hard that her ears were
still buzzing.
"Rosy, how dare you! I can''t believe that you would want to kill your own grandfather! Why would you
do that?" Lenny shouted harshly, pointing at Rosy who was kneeling on the floor.
Rosy had never thought that Lenny would find out about the truth. She was so afraid of Lenny and of
what he would do to her that she knelt on the ground right after she was pped, trying to think of a
proper exnation.
"Father, it''s not what you think. I... I can exin it to you, " said Rosy anxiously.
"How could you possibly exin that? I clearly heard what you have just said when I was outside the
door. I want to ask you one question. Was it you who ordered someone to push your grandfather into
the pond?"
Rosy remained silent when she heard Lenny''s question. Jessie, standing by her side, tried to ease the
tension and said, "Uncle Lenny, don''t get mad. Please hear us out first."

However, what Jessie had said seemed to have made Lenny angrier. He got really mad and shouted,
"You shut up! Was it you who came up with such an evil idea? How can you be so vicious at such a
young age? It seems that I was too lenient on the two of you. I had never thought that you would be
such a bad influence on Rosy, or I would have never ever let you two be friends. How could you
evene up with such a sinister plot!"
"Uncle Lenny, we simply wanted to help you keep the properties which are supposed to be yours and
Rosy''s. If we don''t stop Lord Nn, he will give everything to Linda! We did that for your own good!"
Jessie defensively exined. She had taken part in this scheme, but she didn''t want to take full
responsibility for it. She merely had given Rosy some suggestions, and she really meant to help Rosy,
and even Lenny, protect their interests.
"For my own good? That''s my father you wanted to murder!" Lenny shouted furiously.
"Yes, uncle Lenny, Lord Nn is your father, but deep down, you also know that he is especially fond of
someone else, not you. If I hadn''t helped Rosy, I''m afraid that all of the Nn n''s fortune would fall
into Linda''s hands in the future. Are you really okay with that?" exined Jessie.
Lenny didn''t say a word after he heard Jessie''s remarks.
Jessie seized the chance and continued, "Uncle Lenny, Lord Nn has lived long enough to get

Nn n to Linda, merely because he loves Linda the most. Linda contributes nothing to your n''s
always dedicated yourself to the Nn n''s businesses. Shouldn''t you be the one who gets the

Lenny calmed down a little bit when he heard Jessie''s analysis. He was starting to think that what
Jessie had said might be right, but he still needed to pretend to be an honourable man in front of them.
"Anyhow, what you both had done isn''t right. Don''t you understand? Lord Nn is our elder. He is my
father and Rosy''s grandfather, " said Lenny in a lower voice.
Jessie realized that Lenny''s attitude toward them had changed. She managed to hide the joy in her
voice and said, with a smile on her face, "Yes, we understand now. You are right, uncle Lenny. We
shouldn''t have done something like that, but we can''t undo it. There''s just no way back. Uncle Lenny,
please think twice before you decide what to do next."
Lenny thought about it for a while. What Jessie had said was the truth. Richard wasn''t very fond of his
two sons. When Lenny was little, Lord Nn would punish him harshly if he did anything wrong, even
just for petty matters. On the contrary, when it came to Sherry, everything seemed to be different.
Richard had spoiled her and treated her like a princess.
Though Lenny hadn''t said anything about it, he always thought that it was unfair, and he was jealous of
Sherry. He understood that Lord Nn had wanted to be strict with him as he was the eldest child, but
now he was going to give arge amount of fortune to a woman who had just returned to their n.
Even though Linda was Sherry''s daughter, Lenny still found his father''s partiality very frustrating.
In fact, he found it uneptable. He didn''t think that what Rosy and Jessie had done was right, but he
had changed his view against this matter.
"Yes, father, I know that I was wrong, but I still think it is unfair to give Linda the Sky Building and the
holiday resort as gifts to her babies. Those should belong to us, but Linda took them away from our
hands, taking advantage of grandfather''s love to her."
"Still, you can never cross that line again. Do you understand? I would pretend that I didn''t hear the
conversation that you two had today. Don''t do anything like that next time!" said Lenny. Then, he turned
away with a grumble.
After Lenny left, Rosy fell back on the ground, feeling that she had lost all her strength to stand up.
Lenny''s sudden appearance had scared the hell out of her. She had never thought that Lenny would
hear their conversation and walk into her room to confront her with it.
Walking up to Rosy, Jessie helped her stand up and said, "It''s all right now. Your father has left."
"I''m terrified! Why did hee to my room at such a time?" said Rosy.
"I don''t know. But it''s not a bad thing that he knows about it. I can tell that he actually agrees with us.
He is your father. If you really want to get the properties from your grandfather''s hands, you will need
your father''s help, anyway. Since your father is alive, the properties will be passed on to your father
before you. At least, we now know that your father would fight for it, " said Jessie calmly.
Nodding her head, Rosy walked to a chair and sat down. Then, she took a sip of tea before taking a
deep breath to calm herself down. It had suddenly urred to her that nobody had informed her before
her father had shown up, so she called all the servants in and scolded them for their carelessness.
What if it was another person who had gone in? Their n to kill her grandfather would be exposed.
Lucky for Rosy, it was just her father.
If it had been someone else who had overheard their big secret and told others, there was truly no way
back for them!
The next day, in the afternoon, the sunshine was shining just right. Linda was sitting on a bench in the
garden, reading aic book. The weather was great. It was the perfect time to get herself some
sunshine.
Her belly was so big that she couldn''t do any exercise at all.
All she could do now was to take a walk under the sun after meals.
"My Lady, a policeman from prison informed us just now. They said that you are trying to get May Shen
out of the prison now, " Paul told Linda, as he walked up to her.
"I''m getting her out of the prison? Now? How could that happen?" wondered Linda.
Bun said with a smile, "It certainly isn''t you, My Lady. I think it is Lisa. May is her biological mother.
Only she would take the risk to free May."
Linda closed theic book, and her lips curved in a smile. Lisa was out of her mind. How dared she
pretend to be thedy of the Mu n and get May out of the jail? Wasn''t she afraid that someone would
find out about it? Everybody knew that May was just Linda''s stepmother, and they had never gotten
along with each other. In fact, the way May had treated Linda wouldn''t even qualify her as a
stepmother.
It seemed that Lisa could now no longer contain herself.
In this case, Linda wouldn''t mind dealing with her now.

and visited May in prison. That was also why Paul had known about it so fast.
