Chapter 479 Presents for The Twins
Rosy Nn was not upset about her grandfather saying that she wouldn''t be able to find a husband as
good as Charles; rather, she despised the fact that he was treating her and Linda differently.
Rosy thought that her grandfather was too biased toward Linda. Obviously, Linda was wrong first by an
hourte for dinner. Punctuality was one of her grandfather''s most upheld virtues. Rosy was just being
honest to point it out and to remind Linda of how important punctuality was to the Nn n. However,
her grandfather didn''t side with her, but, instead, he criticized her. How did that make sense?
Tears flooded Rosy''s eyes, as she felt so hurt. But Rosy didn''t dare say anything more since both her
grandfather and her father had opened their mouths to stop her from going against Linda. Rosy, then,
had no choice but to shut her mouth.
Linda felt quite joyful to see Rosy''s tearful eyes. It was Rosy who attempted to bring trouble to her in
the first ce. Linda didn''t understand why she had put on such an aggrieved look. Was it because
Lord Nn didn''t side with her? What did she do wrong to Rosy this time? Was she starving to death
because of Linda''s tardiness?
"Okay, Rosy, just forget about it. Linda didn''t do it on purpose. Stop dwelling on it, and let Linda off this

this, " Murphy Nn also stood up and said.

Linda put one hand on her belly and said, "Yes. And it''s babies, grandfather. I''m expecting twins. They

and said with a smile, "Twins? That''s great news! No wonder your belly is so big. If that''s the case,
then... I have to prepare two presents for my great-grandchildren. Hmm... what should I give them? Let
me think about it."
Lord Nn had only prepared one present for his great-grandchild. Much to his surprise, Linda had
twins in her belly, so he had to think about the presents again.
"Grandfather, please don''t bother yourself too much with it. I know that your love to me and my babies
is enough. Anything would be fine, " Linda said with a smile.
She didn''t care about the presents. She just wished that her babies would be born safely.
"No, I can''t just randomly pick any present for them. They are my dear great-grandchildren. I have to
give them something precious enough, " Lord Nn said. He paused and then continued to say, "How
about this? And by the seaside wharf in the Eastern District was purchased by the Nn n three
years ago. We have been building a holiday resort there. I will give the holiday resort to one of my
great-grandchildren. And then... For the other baby... Oh, how about the Sky Building? The Sky
Building would soon bepleted. It''s located within the centre of the city, and it would be one of
Nn n''smercial estates. I will give it to the other baby. The holiday resort and the Sky building.
Those should be good enough for the twins."
Lord Nn kept muttering out his words without giving a chance for the other people to speak. Except
Linda, all of the Nn n''s members were stunned.
The holiday resort and the Sky Building were the most important projects of the Nn n''s business.
But Lord Nn just gave them both to Linda''s babies. The other family members were upset and angry.
If Lord Nn would really do as he had said, Linda would have taken arge part of the Nn n''s
properties.
However, even though they were very furious, they couldn''t dare argue with Lord Nn, especially
after the fiascost time. When Lord Nn gave Linda two branchpanies owned by the Nn n
as Linda''s wedding presents, Rosy didn''t agree with Lord Nn''s decision, so she got scolded
seriously by him.
All of the other family members were well aware of Lord Nn''s bias toward Linda.
So, this time, when they had heard his decision, they all kept silent.
Nobody dared to stand up and oppose against Lord Nn, including Rosy. In fact, right now, she sat
still, let out a low hum, and didn''t utter anything else. Rosy knew that if she said anything now, she
would be getting on Lord Nn''s bad side.
They all continued eating their dinner after the episode. The family dinner went on quietly as each of
the family members was immersed in his or her own thoughts. After dinner, they all went back to their
houses.
"Linda,e to my study after you finish, " Lord Nn said before standing up to leave. Linda
immediately nodded her head. She assumed that her grandfather might have something to tell her in
private.
Linda quickly finished her dinner and shuffled to leave the dining room, too. Her grandfather was the
only person that Linda cared about in the Nn n. All of the other family members were against her,
so Linda didn''t care about them at all.
Linda understood that they didn''t want her to have a hand on the Nn n''s properties and assets.
Even though Linda hadn''t the slightest interest in those properties, she still would try her best to protect
her possessions since they were given to her by her grandfather.
On top of that, her mother, Sherry Nn, had rights to the Nn n''s properties, so she did, too.
Linda thought she was taking her share for herte mother''s sake.
Not knowing why, Linda felt ufortable staying in the dining room as each second passed by, so
she picked up her pace walking toward the door.
The aroma in the air was kind of strange. Linda''s face went pale as she inhaled the smell. At the
doorway, Anna was already waiting for Linda. She went over to Linda and noticed her pale face, so she
asked, "My Lady, are you okay? Are you feeling sick?"
Linda shook her head and said, "No, nothing serious. I just feel a little bit ufortable here. I don''t
like how it smells around here..."
Having heard Linda''s words, Anna walked inside the dining room and looked around. She found that
there were some flowers furnishing the room, exuding a delicate fragrance in the air. Anna felt that it
was a nice scent... Eventually, Anna rested her eyes on some purple-colored flowers.
After she walked close to them and saw what kind of flowers they were, Anna furrowed her brows. But
she didn''t say anything and went back to Linda''s side. She whispered in Linda''s ears, "My Lady, let''s
leave the room as soon as possible."
Looking at Anna''s worried face, Linda instantly understood that there had to be some problems with
those flowers.
She immediately left the dining room together with Anna and Bun. As soon as they had gotten far away
from the dining room, Anna told Linda, "My Lady, I saw somevenders in the room. You''re pregnant,
so the scent ofvenders is bad for you. You would feel ufortable with it. Lavenders can help
stimte the cirction of the blood in a human''s body; however, if you have absorbed too much of its
scent during your pregnancy, it might cause a miscarriage."
"Really? That''s so terrible!" Linda was surprised when she heard Anna''s words. That was why she felt
uneasy while she was in the dining room.
"Yes, it''s not so suitable for pregnant women. But, for the other people,vender would be good for
their health, " Anna added.
Linda sensed that someone had to have done it on purpose. It didn''t seem like a coincidence because
