Chapter 403 A Spontaneous Trip


    "Of course, honey. It''s all up to you. If you''re not willing to go, I won''t push you. That''s all your call, "


    Robert said with a smile. He felt sad about how Linda replied him. It seemed to him that Linda really


    didn''t want to go.


    He always thought that Linda still had feelings for Charles. Charles was evidently still a part of her


    heart.


    If she didn''t have any feelings for him, why wouldn''t she go to the wedding and expose his lies? He had

    Robert noticed that Lisa''s face was red, which seemed unnatural. He was worried that she might get


    sick, so he ced his hand on her forehead to see whether she had a fever.


    "Linda, are you okay? What happen to your face? Are you feeling sick?"


    Lisa''s face turned redder as he did that, so she tried to change the subject.


    "My love, would you want to go on a spontaneous trip with me?" Lisa asked suddenly.


    "Where?" Robert was shocked at her idea.


    "I don''t know. Maybe Maldives? Can you apany me for a few days'' trip? I haven''t had a vacation


    in a long while. Can we just go and enjoy ourselves, without telling anyone?" There was a note of


    eagerness in her voice. She hoped that Robert would say yes.


    Lisa believed that he would agree to go with her because he loved Linda so much. He never said no to


    Linda before.

    "Maldives? Sure. I''ll have my assistant book the flights for us, " Robert agreed at once.


    "Let''s go now, shall we?"


    Robert held Lisa in his arms gently and told her, "I shouldn''t have pushed you to do that. I''m sorry, my


    dear."


    He came to realize that Linda didn''t want to hold onto Charles any more, and she wanted to get far


    away from here. She had a rtionship with Charles, and they had been through a lot. Robert decided


    that he wouldn''t push her any more. She was too kind to confront Charles.


    Robert had always loved Linda for her kindness.


    He knew Linda was a woman with a gentle and caring heart.


    Taking out his phone, Robert called his assistant and asked him to book two flight tickets to Maldives.


    His assistant was efficient, so he booked the tickets for them in a short time. The flight would depart at


    around 3 PM in the afternoon.


    At around noon, Robert took Lisa to a fancy restaurant for a nice lunch. When they were almost


    finished, Robert told Lisa, "Dear, let''s go home to pack our things now, or we''ll miss the flight."


    Lisa was worried that Adam would notice that something was wrong. She wouldn''t dare go home. She


    knew for sure that if they went home, Adam would realize that she hadn''t gone to ruin Charles''s


    wedding. If he found out that she was going to flee, she would suffer the grave consequences.


    "Can we just go straight to the airport? We don''t have to pack our things. Do you have your credit card


    with you? Having a credit card is enough, " said Lisa.


    "Okay, as long as you''re with me."


    Robert didn''t give it any further thought. For him, Linda was the most important person in his life, and it


    made no difference whether they took their luggage or not as long as they were together.


    "We can go to the supermarket and buy the necessities we need there. We don''t have to go home.


    Let''s go, my dear, " said Lisa. Robert''s heart was softened when Lisa held his arm and spoke to him in


    a cute voice.


    Looking at her pretty face and her innocent eyes, Robert felt really happy. He felt satisfied with how


    their rtionship was now.


    He always thought that the best decision he had ever made was to return home to find Linda. He


    couldn''t get her out of his mind over the years. Although he noticed that Linda''s personality had


    changed a bit and that she forgot lots of things they had done together when they were in college, he


    still wanted to be with her. It didn''t matter as long as she stayed with him.


    So they went to the supermarket and bought necessities. They didn''t buy many things, as they still


    could get what they needed in Maldives.

    that he had enough money to go on a trip with her to Maldives. It would only take one of his tinum


    credit cards to cover all their costs there.


    Lisa had decided to try every possible way to get Robert to stay in Maldives for at least a month, so she


    could plot out a n to get rid of Adam, or maybe, she could try to turn Robert against Adam. If Robert


    didn''t believe in Adam any longer, she could get rid of Adam more easily.


    The most important reason why she was doing this was because she didn''t want to stay in their house

    Lisa was leaning on Robert''s shoulder, trying to get some sleep. Suddenly, her phone alerted her for an

    Lisa didn''t want to call Adam, so she deleted the message, hoping that he wouldn''t find out where they


    were.


    All she wanted now was to get rid of Adam, the evil man.


    "What''s wrong, Linda? Are you not feeling well? Your face is so pale, " Robert said in a worried voice.
