    about 6% of the total pop is a mage due to the fact that even if a mage and a non mage have a child there is less 2% chance that the child has magic power and it is automatically arcane when it does


    Every mage is born with an affinity to at most two elements(perhaps more but those havent been discovered yet)


    occasionally plebs are born with magical affinity and when they do it is automatically the arcane element


    therefore arcane is the lowest magical element


    over generations those arcane elemental mages develop an element (water fire earth or wind) while the arcane element vanishes


    one must note that the developed pure element is always stronger than the pure arcane element and a person who has both combined

    a dual elemented mage is a high noble or a king


    a pure elemented mage is mid noble


    an arcane elemented or half developed mage is a lower noble
