    “I might try and see what happens.” Calvin didn’t back down.


    Both men were very influential in Strico and their existence was untouchable. And yet, they were

    “If Rosalie doesn’t want to stay here today, I will take her away no matter what!” Calvin yelled.


    “I’ll break another hand of yours then,” Jonathan replied coldly. He directly attacked Calvin in an instant.

    his throat. It was so powerful and full of hatred!


    “How could she say the words let go so lightly? How could she kneel in front of me so easily?” he


    questioned Rosalie internally.


    Rosalie raised her head and looked at him calmly. “It was a mistake between us from the very


    beginning. Maybe you shouldn’t have saved me at that time, nor should I have taken you back to my


    rental house and asked you to call me Rosie. Jonathan, we never belong in the same world. I can’t give


    you the love you want, nor can you give me the trust I want.”


    Her voice was like a huge rock, smashing into his heart brutally. It hurt so much!


    After a long time, Jonathan finally opened his mouth. “You begged me to let go of you. This means that


    from now on, we have nothing to do with each other anymore. Do you still want me to let you go even if


    we end up like this?”
